I am very, very disappointed. I took my car to them because my airbag light was on and my engine was squeaky (my first trip to them had my timing belt replaced, it had been squeaking ever since). Not only were they not able to fix my airbag (requiring a tool they did not own), they claimed that they did not cause the squeaking and tried to convince me it was an unrelated part that needed replacement. Though they did not do any actual work to my car, I still was charged for them touching the car. On top of all that, I received my car back smelling very strongly of cigarette smoke, which the first lady adamantly denied but the second admitted they smoke "around" the car. I do not trust these people and I would be very wary of going there.

I first went to East David Automotive several years ago. They were recommended by a friend. I had been to the Honda dealership, who told me that I needed a new transmission, and the repairs were going to cost me $4000. East David fixed the problem (a simple oxygen sensor) for $125, and that was about 80,000 miles ago! I have been taking my car nowhere else ever since. East David's mechanics are honest and thorough, and I feel that the prices are very reasonable. When I used to take my car to other places for repair, I would almost always have to take the car back 2 or 3 times before the problem would finally get fixed. East David fixes it right the first time. I am thrilled to pieces to have a mechanic I can trust!

I was recommended to East David Automotive by my parents, who have received stellar service from them in the past. I was initially worried about getting the run-around that I was used to receiving at other garages. I had an oil and radiator leak in my Mazda 626, which their mechanics fixed promptly at a reasonable rate. They even went ahead and fixed another radiator problem that was noticed while the other issues were getting repaired. This saved me from becoming stranded on yet another Godforsaken patch of road somewhere in the dead center of nowhere. It is definitely refreshing to have a garage that will explain the issues in terms that you can understand and not feel like your being taken advantage of. I would recommend this business to everyone.

I've gone to East David now for several years and I've always been pleased with the services provided. Never over charged, never stranded and I'm a woman.

I've been to several auto service centers over the years and I've never been treated with the respect that I get at East David. I have recommended several friends and family members and all have been satisfied.

I called them on the recommendation of a friend when my car failed to start. I was charged almost $100 for a new battery to be installed. I don't think I would have been charged so much had I been male. I als o had to wait quite a long time starnded before the even responded.
