It is not even worth the time or energy to write all the bad things about this place. Worst place to live. DO NOT MOVE THERE. \r\n

look at the apartment itself before moving in. You will be spending and wasting most of your time calling the maintenance hotline. Everything is malfunction from the garage doors opening on its own to the washer rattling in an attempt to do a load of laundry. The tiles weren't even sticking to the floor the second we stepped our foot in the door, try sleeping on a hot night when the A/C is broken-MULTIPLE TIMES, having to call the maintenance AGAIN for a malfunction garbage disposal, the list goes on an on. If you plan on working out- suggest getting a membership @gym. Their machines are broken, the elliptical only has one handle and that leaves you with just the treadmill and weights. Not an ideal 24-hr fitness center? This definitely isn't a luxurious place.

Upon moving to Cleveland, I did a Google search for Luxury Apartments and Butternut Ridge came up. When I went to check it out, I was happy with the model apartment in the leasing office, and the leasing agents. I really should have looked at the apartment itself before we moved in. Since we are here temporarily, we rented furniture and are having them pay for all utilities. The leasing agent was very helpful in getting things set up. We are paying close to $2000 a month for a furnished apartment with utilities paid. Not the cheapest.\r\n\r\nWhat a dump. The carpet is new, but that is the only nice thing about the apt. The laundry closet doors fell off onto my husband the first time he opened them. And, after the maintenance guys fixed it...they fell off on me. They ended up replacing them....after 3 weeks of waiting ""for the doors to come in."" Once they were here, it took another week to complete, because they orderd the wrong size.\r\n\r\nThe doors to the master bedroom and bath were falling apart. They wouldn't close because they were so warped. When they did replace the doors, they were beat-up old doors that had been repaired..you can see the nail holes, and the paint is chipping off. \r\n\r\nAfter 2 months of living here, the doorknob to the bathroom closet got stuck so you couldn't open it. Had to use a hanger to get into it. Then the doorknob to ""new"" bathroom door did the same thing. Got stuck and couldn't be opened. Thank goodness there was another door to get out of, or I would have been stuck. Just now, the other bathroom door fell off the hinges.\r\n\r\nIf you look out the patio door to the garage, you can see the gutters falling off the roof. The buildings themselves need to be painted. And the noise is horrendous. We have to wear earplugs at night to be able to sleep.\r\n\r\nThis is NOT a luxury apartment complex. This is the WORST place I have ever lived....including the dumps in college.\r\n\r\nGo elsewhere.

If you look out the patio door to the garage, you can see the gutters falling off the roof. The buildings themselves need to be painted. Oh...but wait. If you go towards the front of the complex...the buildings look just fine. Only in the back, where the majority of the suckers and future suckers don't look.
The noise is horrendous. We must have a herd of elephants living above us. We can hear all of our neighbors come in and out, and their pets barking at all hours. I have started wearing earplugs to get a decent night??s sleep.
