We are preparing to leave NE Ohio, so on our "fairwell tour" of our favorite places, is Parasson's. Today, we just got our favorite thing, the antipasto with the incomparable creamy italian dressing. It's heavenly.
We are empty nesters now, but we go way back to the Stow location when, back in the 1980s, we regularly took our 4 kids there for dinner and the bill was about $15.
The prices have gone up of course, but the decor is reliably unchanged, and the food is still plain but good.

Food at this local chain is good and a fair value overall. I dont think it'll win any contests for pizza, which is bland and not up to the standards of even some frozen pizzas. Salads can occasionally contain frozen/wilted lettuce but are usually good. The house Italian dressing is a creamy Italian and is tasty. Chicken parmesan is really chicken fingers with sauce--a disappointment. Overall, think of it as an Italian Denny's. They have upclassed their service: better napkins, silver, etc.

You have to love Parasson's! They have great food at prices that you just don't see at restaurants anymore. Plus, they have the best garlic bread around, though I wish they would have stuck with the old kind instead of changing it so many times.

This is a great place to get family-size portions for parties or just dinner at home!

PROS: Low prices, great food
CONS: Atmosphere isn't the best, bathrooms are downstairs (bad for handicapped)
