Webster Funeral Home could not have been nicer to me and my family when my mother passed away. They treated me just like family. They couldnt have been more helpful in such a sad time. I can not rate them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and call Websters if you ever need a funeral home, you wont b disappointed.

We buried my father last week and were very upset with the lack of compassion shown to our family in our time of grief by Mr. Webster Sr. It seems that everything was funny to him, as he showed us caskets from "pine boxes" to plush resting places, making remarks about selling lots of these "pine boxes", jewish people use them all the time. Everything was a joke, including the funny story he told about a man who used their facility for his wife's 40th surprise birthday party, where he blindfolded his wife, placed her in a casket, and wheeled her into a room full of people .... surprise! I found this story very distasteful, and inappropriate for this time. When Mr. Webster said he needed the money on the day of the visitation, my mom asked if he was joking. His reply was "no I'm not joking, I'm not a used car salesman, ha ha, I can't take it back, ha ha ha. When I was given the total of all the expenses, I was told that he would give us a discount of $700.00 off if we gave him cash. When asked if he would take a cashiers check, his reply was, no, I need the green stuff. I asked, "how will that help you?" he said, I won't report half of it, but don't tell my accountant that, ha ha ha. It seems maybe the Websters have been in this business too long, and need to remind themselves that this job is a ministry to grieving people, and not a joking matter. Stand up comedy should be saved for another occasion. My family will not recommend the Webster Funeral Home to anyone we come in contact with.

Just left the grave site burial of a relative in which Webster Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Immediately following the service at the grave site the young Mr. Webster from Webster Funeral Home walked up to the elderly grieving husband who was crying mourning the death of his wife of 67 years and said "Sir here is your bill." This has got to be the most insensitive action that I have ever witnessed in my life. The elderly husband was still seated in front of the casket mourning the love of his life and this insensitive young man had the nerve to present him with the bill at that moment in front of the family and friends gathered to grieve the loss of a loved one. I hope never to witness something so cruel and uncaring again, especially from a Funeral Home.
