The ER triage nurses are anything but trained in evaluating patients that are in need of immediate care. Bacteremia is life threatening - yet for the next 4 hours I waited to be called as people reporting nausea easting a full big meal box from McDonalds as they waited to be see were taken before me. St Anne's triage nurses need to be replaced with competent licensed RN's. I doubt their present staff meets the standards of the other hospitals in Columbus.

In late 2002r I spent a lot of time at St. Anns hospital. My pregnancy wit hmy daughter was very trying. It seemed she was just a little impatient and didn't want to wait to be born. I was cared for by the maternity staff, and the Perinatal staff. The entire staff was wonderful to work with. During my week long stay on Hospital bedrest the staff helped to keep my mind at ease and let me know they were doing all they could to make sure my child would be born as healthy as possible. By the time I had left the entire staff was anticipating the birth of this little miracle child. I returned a few weeks later when it was safe to have her and she melted the hearts of many as she made her way into the world. After my daughter was born she was having some minor complications, her temperature dropped, and she had excess fluid in her lungs. The Nurses in the NICU were there to care for her while she underwent tests and soon she was well enough to be with me. I am blessed to have had such a positive experience and I could not have done it without the help of such a wonderful caring staff at the hospital.

Built in late 2003, the Women's Pavilion at Saint Ann's Hospital is superb. My wife had complications and each time we were there, the staff was courteous, helpful, and very professional. If you're having a child, this is the place to be!!!

We had our first child born at St. Anns last fall. The staff was great from admission to checkout. They took excellent care of my wife while in labor always promptly attending to her needs. During shift changes everything was smooth. Once the baby was born she was in great hands. The nurses in our stay room showed us everything we might need to know and kept a very close watch on the baby from temperature to every other need. They promptly checked on her every hour at first and then every couple of hours. The rooms are newly remodeled, very clean and have good accomodations. I spent several nights there with my wife and the pull out couch was quite comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets were offered without me even asking. Top notch baby delivery in Columbus.
