              .

My daughter went to this school for 2 and a half years from 2006 until last summer 2008. For the first year and a half, we were completely satisfied. The teachers, director and owner went above and beyond to make the school a special place for the children. During the last year, our experience was much different. Nearly 80% of the teachers that were there when our daughter started attending the school were no longer with the school. The attitude of the director and owner seemed clouded by stress. It became much more difficult to get their time and attention if you needed to discuss an issue. Our daughter's teacher was very negative and arrogant. He did not communicate well with parents and I observed him being very hard on the children at times. He didn't seem to like children which is a very bad trait for a pre-school teacher. When I shared my concerns with the director and owner, I was met with an extremely defensive attitude. Every interaction from that point forward was strained and difficult. I no longer felt welcome in the school. My daughter was still enjoying being there and was very close to her friends so I let her finish the year. But, I would not recommend this school to anyone who wants to be an active participant in their child's education. The teacher and the owner don't seem to encourage opinions or feedback from parents. It's really a shame that things have changed, it used to be a wonderful place for children of all ages.

              Pros: Very convenient hours

Cons: VERY expensive without the quality to justify it

The Goddard School cares more for money than for the kids. They charge a high tuition for no good reason. Don't even provide milk. They gave my son tap water after they discarded his unfinished milk.
