I have been to many tattoo places. I have never felt more comfortable else where. Tattoo Tech has been wonderful. Brian has done all of my work and I couldn't ask for a better artist. I am eventually working on getting a back piece done

When you first walk in to Tattoo Tech, you notice that it looks like a pretty typical tattoo shop. It seems clean and organized, and the walls are covered with the typical tattoo flash artwork. What you don't notice is anyone greeting you. This is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to a business - having worked in customer service for over seven years, I don't think it's that difficult to say "hello" to a customer. It's quick, it's easy, and it instantly makes people feel welcome. Despite the lack of greeting, I was set on having my piercing done. I had wanted it for a long time, and didn't feel like searching for another place to get it done.

When I told the piercer what kind of work I wanted done, he seemed nervous about the difficulty of the particular piercing. They didn't have the jewelry I wanted, so I had to wait an hour for him to disinfect a ring in the auto clave. The piercer seemed relatively nice, and was quick and calming - which are great qualities in a piercer, however; he was less than friendly to my boyfriend, who I brought with me for moral support.

In the end, I walked out with a crooked piercing and $65 less in my wallet. Although I have had many piercings done before and didn't really need the info, the piercer didn't offer any information on healing time or after-care, and I wasn't given any disinfecting supplies (most of the best piercing shops I've been to send you home with a little cup of sea salt, at least). I feel like info on after-care is a big part of their job and the over all success of a piercing. The whole experience wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't go back to get any work done.

In my opinion, a piercer or tattoo artist should be like a friend who you can always go back to to get work done. I think a big part of their job is to make you comfortable and welcome. You should be able to trust them, because after all, they are jamming needles into your body. I didn't get the sense that this was that kind of place, and in the future I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

the front desk "receptionist" said " he couldnt schedule apointments because he did it wrong and got s**t for it". I say then what does he do behind the desk?

"recepionist" said he "didnt know when certain a staff members would be in, the staff member never came in yesterday and was do in an hour ago, so any time i guess". staff member did show up 2 hours later but had to leave again to "get food".

i showed up for an apointment but sertain staff member never got out of his car....i left.

most staff can be found sitting in their cars, not in the shop, lord knows what is going on in the cars. and the shop smells of illegal substance usage.

Monkey Bones got my buisness and i will continue to let others know how poorly run Tattoo Tech on Brandt pike is .

This was my first tattoo; however my husband has several. We'd gotten my nephew a tattoo for his birthday & I loved the artwork from Chris Fullam, it was so clear and detailed! So I decided that was who I wanted to do mine. He was great. He took my idea & went with it. He was gentle and let me know what to expect and when it would feel somewhat different. I plan to get another one and will definitely go there and have Chris do it again. My husband plans to do the same. They aren't cheap, but I would rather pay more for quality and cleanliness than less for crappy work and the risk for infection.

Parking can be difficult, but its WELL worth it. Knowledgeable staff and awesome work! Way more informative than other places I've been to.
