Wow, I've never dealt with such a rude, angry person in my life(woman at the desk). Friendly, customer service goes a long way for me, but you won't find it with Robbins Realty. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want

WOW. I am shocked at the lack of service. Marilyn cannot be bothered to do anything. She seems to be an unprofessional bitter woman. Attitude for days if you ask her anything.
They do not have email. They do not have a web site. I'm not

I would not recommend this realty company to anyone. They have strange regulations on roommates. They were even suspicious of my boyfriend being over at my place.
Lived in the apartment for one year and never had a good experience with the lady that works in the office. Other tenants have said they would wait until the office was closed to drop off their rent just so they would not have to see her. Just NASTY to people.
The neighborhood that I lived in was not safe! The lady in the office made me feel guilty I was leaving. After I had explained I didn't feel comfortable living there anymore, she snapped at me and insisted none of her tenants had ever had a problem. ( someone tried to break into my apartment twice!)

Landlords should consider treating their tenants with more respect!! I might have considered renting another property from them but by the end of my lease I couldn't wait to leave!

Pros: Property's are ok

Cons: landlords are rude, inconsiderate and plain mean!

My fiancee and I tried to rent an apartment from Robbins Realty. We had some unfortunate difficulties and must express our distaste at the policies and management of the company.

Despite the fact that we are engaged, have been on a lease previously and offered to pay a month ahead in rent, they refuse to rent to "roommates" as they are not legally protected. I have never heard of a company requiring a party to be legally protected to sign a lease. He proclaims his right to "discriminate against roommates," and proudly explains that he has confirmed the legality of this practice. Does this mean that any alternative lifestyle that is not protected is inherently denied? Regardless, he explains he can refuse to rent to people who live together who are not bound by a marriage certificate. I suppose if I required a live-in caretaker, was gay, or commonlawed, I would also be barred from renting - a surely illegal discrimination. Too bad my financee and I are hard working young professionals and thus not protected from unfair business practices.

After some protest, he explained he has another townhome nearby that will accept roommates. Oddly enough, he said in the beginning that they do not rent to any roommates as a company policy. When prompted about this, he said that the owners of the property dictate the rules. So why was this a "company policy' the first time? When asked about the owners of the first property, he said the owners would "probably" be ok with it, but it is his policy that THAT property cannot be rented to roommates.

It is for these inconsistent and discriminatory practices that I caution readers about this company. They turn away leasees as part of a misguided and inconsistent policy dictated by the personal views of the management. They will tell you it is for their own economic interests, but even when offered a month-ahead in rent they still refuse, but offer /other/ apartments where their "company policy" does not apply.
