Pops concert with Idina Menzell was a mixed bag. Ms. Menzell and the Pops orchestra were spectacular, however, the venue is horrible.

Let's start with boorish idiot with a loud boat on the Ohio that interrupted the performance on three

This was my first time at Riverbend, and was not impressed!\r
My first impression was it was going to be a great night. Very cool along the River, and parking and traffic was not an issue. But once inside, if you have lawn seats you need

I went to my first Riverbend Concert last night - Coldplay. While the band was awesome as always, the acoustics of the lawn are awful. Chris Martin made up for it by coming out to the center lawn stage to sing to us though. :) I am 5'3" tall and the lower I went, the less I could see of the stage. The design of the shelter is horridly awful. It is pretty sad that you can pay a fortune for tickets (52 bucks for LAWN seats) and not even be able to really see the artist because of the way the building is made. I would recommend not spending the money on a lawn seat, and instead just upping your total cost to get inside. It had to have been better there. Oh and if it recently rained, or you think it is going to rain, bring a trash bag or tarp to lay your blanket on, the ground was soaked last night for us!

Overall I give this venue a 1 star for poor acoustics and seating.

Pros: The bands they somehow manage to attract

Cons: River stench, acoustics, inability to see, soaking wet lawn

I attended the Kenny Chesney show on Thursday night. I paid well over $500.00 for my tickets. This was my choice to do to be able to see him, but there had to be something wrong with him. He did not put on a good show at all. I love

Riverbend is right on the Ohio River, just outside of Cincinnati. The stage sits in front of the river, so from selected seats you can view the beautiful Ohio River. The venue features both traditional, covered seats and lawn seats. Riverbend also attracts just a ton of artists to the area, from rock, pop, jazz, to symphanies. This past summer I took my children to see the POPS perform music from Star Wars, greaty for the kids. The lawn seating allow families to bring children so that they can enjoy concerts with their parents. It is a great, scenic place to enjoy a show. It can get a little warm in the heat of the summer, and due to the location by the river be sure to use bugspray before going.

This is the place to see Dave Matthews in Cincinnati. He, and many other like John Mayer and the like, only play this huge venueand theres a reason.it fits so many people. The seating is very accommodating. Theres hundreds of seats in the pavilion. And then theres the lawn, which can hold thousands of people. Just remember to bring your lawn chairs and blankets if you plan to sit in the lawn. There are also jumbo-trons for the lawn. The refreshments are extremely expensive (like most venues).Riverbend is nestled right on the Ohio River, just outside of Cincinnati. This summer, my girlfriend surprised me with a pair of tickets to watch bands at the Riverbend Music Center. I was excited. When we got there, I thought the place is awesome because it is outdoor and very spacy. I was wrong with the "awesome" part because when it turned dark, you won't believe how many mosquitoes are in the place, the next day, everybody thought I went camping due to the bugbites! I do not recommend this place....

I really don't like outdoor amphitheatres, so it's no surprise that I don't like Riverbend. It seats a ton of people. Mostly on the lawn. Because it is on the river it floods whenver the river floods. The bugs are bad from being so close to the river. I think the acoustics are awful. Leaving in your car is a nightmare after the show you are seeing. My least favorite venue in Cincinnati.

Charged full price even though we had entertainment tickets. Not permitted to bring coolers in. Even had to empty a thermos of Ice Water, they said it might be Vodka. Treatment like this is why the crowd was very small for the pops. Us

Riverbend is one of the worst venues i have ever been to for music. The pavillion seats are okay, but if have to be on the lawn the performers llok like ants. The sceens for the show are tiny, and thier are scaffoldings to block your view.

Riverbend is great for shows, but give me live music down at Sawer Point, Newport or anywhere else on the river.

All in all, riverbend is the top place to perform during the summer, but Cincy gets leanty of use out of the riverfront
