Blue Ash Chili has the best chili I've tasted - far better than the chili at the multi-location chains. The double-decker sandwiches are HUGE - you can't get one in your mouth! Other selections are plentiful - and very good! It's common to see one of the managers or servers sitting with regular customers for a brief chat, or sharing a brief hug. The seems like family at Blue Ash Chili..
Blue Ash Chili is my favorite place for Cincinnati Chili. When we go to visit Mom, we ALWAYS have to go to Blue Ash. I LOVE their Five-Way Chili and their sandwiches are impossible to eat it all. I love to watch people trying to get those huge sandwiches in their mouth. The waitresses are awesome and the service great.
I was happy to hear that Blue Ash Chili was under new ownership. The food is just what I remembered from years ago. From what I was told and experienced, they are back to using all the original meats and ingredients. You can tell the new owner is taking pride in the establishment, it is clean and the service is top notch. The place is as busy as ever and the word is spreading. Its even a great place to kick back and enjoy a cold beer. It was even mentioned on NPR. So, if you like award winning overstuffed sandwiches and real cincinnati style chili, you've got to try it.
Pros: Great Value, Good Service , Awesome Food
Most people would think of Skyline Chilli when it comes to Cincinnati Chilli. The people who know better think of Blue Ash.
Blue Ash is not the greatest decor. It has sort of a 50's diner feel about it. And it isn't in the greatest state of repair. This is probably what makes the food so good. The kitchen is well seasoned.
Pros: Value, quality
Cons: kinda run down
