Carnival Foods

This is a store now that unless it is a dire emergency I will not be shopping there anymore. I am absolutely thrown at the way that carnival's deli is. There are two older women at night that when they are working you at least get decent service and now that I hear that let one woman go I am done with them. Why bother to buy anything that is on sale when you have to wait while the one girl is in the back and you can see her there and she does not even bother to stick her head out at all when the lines are around the corner. For the few pennies that are saved it is not worth my time.

I've been shopping @ Carnival since around 2000. They have the best cuts and quality of meat. I discovered them while living in Carroll, where we recieved their ads. I have since moved to Groveport, where they were able to send me their store ads to my home. I drive 'down' to Lancaster once a month and just buy their meat. Their ground chuck and ground sirloin is the best.
The prices on meat can't be beat either. Towards the end of each month they have a meat sale, we're talking 89-98 cent chicken breasts people ( frozen, but ok with me). Check out their website for store ads and coupons too!
I would have to agree with the other lady about the coupons. They are only honored at face value, and they do not match competitor ads/coupons.

The store is owned by the same person who used to run Bay food mart on fair avenue and its a given that they have the best meat selection in town. The new store is clean, well lighted and the quality of the selection keeps me shopping at this location year after year. The regular prices on most items are frequently lower than the other grocery stores in town. The only thing I do not like is that the coupons are only redeemed at face value. I would love to see them go to double coupons, it would just be one more reason to shop at this store

PROS: Great meat selection, prices below the local norm
CONS: Coupons are only worth face value

This is a real nice grocery that doesn't sell alcohol. Meat selection is really nice. One of the better ones in Lancaster. Produce is usually fresh
