This place is the worst. i watched a young female that makes salads up front, pick bread sticks off the floor and serve them to a customer. I could not believe my eyes. when i got home that evening i found to long dark brown hairs in my salad i was disgusted. poor training on managements part.
High quality ingredients and a superior product! Perfectly baked every time!
I think the low ratings person must be a Cowtown/Pizza Hut kinda person ...
GRANDVIEW STORE-By Far the best Pizza in town. It always come in @ a 10. they are consistant with their product. In the 60's I made pizza's for the Ohio State Baskball team and I know how I want my pizza to taste. They are all great people there, I will always have my choice that that will be Sparano!
By far one of the best pizzas in Columbus! I live on the East side of Columbus, but have family that live in Hillard on the west side. Over the weekend my brother called Sparanos to order up one of my all time favorite pizzas. the heavy duty! This thing is loaded up tall! With the way my brother and I eat I'm surprised that we actually NEED help from our wives to finish a large! I got a chance to talk to some of the young staff that work there this weekend and can't believe how well they get work done! I asked them a little about the shop and they couldnt have been kinder. They were pullin out pizzas left and right, takin orders, making subs. they had it down!
I've been coming from the Bexley to get Sparanos for a number of years now and my only complaint is that they don't have a closer location!!

I love the sauce here...It is some of the best in columbus....The only thing that makes me upset is the fact they dont use real Ingredients. The slimy canned mushrooms really gross me out.

We had it and I wasn't at all impressed. I'm wondering who wrote all these rave reviews - must be the owners themselves or their family. I will not go there again.

Having lived in this area for over 25 years, this is singularly the best place to enjoy Italian food in the area and my family came from Italy. It is fantastic! WOW!

They have excellent Pizza and Great Subs! There Subs have a sauce on them that is out of this world.It is a little to much bread but not overbearing. I really loved them as well as my Family.

Sparanos' pizza is delicious! You don't ever need to order extra cheese- if you do it's too much. They also serve favorite Italian dinners- spagetti, lasagna, etc.- as well as hot wings, salads and side dishes. Their delivery is fast- and they pizza is still really hot when you get it. The only menu item we don't care much for are the subs- too much bread, not enough meat and cheese.

The pizza is very excellent and they deliver. How wonderful! However, I felt the need to write a review because I have ordered 3 times from the Grandview location in the last few months and they have always been rude on the phone. No matter how busy they are they are in the service industry the same as I and I have been taught never to take out my frustration over being busy on the customer. It's pizza for pity sake. I will hesitate to order again just because I hate to feel like I am wasting their time. I would like it if the owner would read this because they need to know that their wonderful pizza needs a little better presentation.
If you like old school good pizza this pizza is for you. It tastes homemade with a thicker crust than all these sissy columbus pizzas.
I've had every pizza that typically makes the "best in" lists - Massey's, Tommy's, Donatos, Adriaticos. This one is better than all of them. It is the perfect pizza pie.

Scrumptious luscious pizza! Great crust, wonderful cheese, fresh toppings - ohh, umm!! The original shop is on Hague and I was delighted to find a 2nd shop now in Grandview on NW Blvd. If you want a really good pizza, try Sparano's! ;-)
Pros: This is a carry-out pizza shop and the pizza and other dinners are FABULOUS!
Cons: I can't eat their pizza every night but I'd surely like to!
Has fresh ingredients like spinach, feta cheese... slightly more offerings than the standard. The Grandview location isn't listed anywhere that I've seen yet, so thought I'd spread the word. Good pizza and they deliver!

My favorite pizza (not NY style) - Rubinos on Main in Bexley.
I hate chain pizza - and was having a hard time finding consistently good delivery pizza here in Columbus. Sparano's didn't let me down. The crust is amazing (it's not New York style so don't expect that), and they don't over-flour their cheese (in other words, it tastes good and isn't fluffy like the cheese on papa johns or the like). Unfortunately, I still can't find a good New York style pizza, nor can I find any white/Margherite pizzas in town - anyone know where I can get one?
Pros: crust, fresh toppings, tasty sauce, delivery
Cons: no white pizza
