This is a good school, but the administration is too preoccupied with creating a super on campus setup, and they need to realize that they are a commuter school. Dont waste your money, there are cheaper and equally reputable schools close by. Try NKU.

I attended the University of Cincinnati from 1999-2004 and during my time there I noticed that there are a good number of teachers that really don't know how to teach. The education I received eventually got me a job, but I feel like there was a lot left to be desired of my overall experience and learning. I do like what the new President is doing. She seems to have a clear vision of what she wants to do. GO NANCY!!!

This school, I would have to say, is alright, but there are better places. The faculty and staff can be helpful, but it is a big school so you are not treated as if you were at a small school. You sacrifice face time with going to such a big school. As previously mentioned, there is tons of construction and parking is a bit outrageous. Plus, there are not very many places to park around the campus, a small number of meters. The area around the campus is somewhat ok, the restaurants and hang out places are very good, especially on clifton and on mcmillin street. Tuition is also quite a bit higher than most public colleges.

UC seemed like a great choice in the beginning because of its location. Now, however, I wish I would have looked elsewhere. The campus is a mess. There hasn't been one day that I have been there when there wasn't construction going on. THe old side of campus is really pretty...and then they mixed that in with these new space-ship looking buildings. Tuition is high for what you get. Parking is ridiculous and very expensive. It is next to impossible to get anything done when you have a problem with your financial aid or you bill or schedule. The horrible professors I have had far out-weigh the good ones. Hate it.

PROS: it's close to where I live...
CONS: tuition, staff, construction....
