I have used John Brown Carpets several times to install carpet in my homes; and I have always been very happy with their work and products. Mr. Brown came to my residence and measured the areas that I requested. As he measured, he explained in detail how the work would be completed. He gave me accurate estimates; and I was very impressed with his professionalism and courteous manner. He was not pushy in any way; and he gladly answered all of my questions. I will continue to use John Brown Carpets for all of my flooring work. In addition, Mr. Brown followed up by contacting me after the jobs were completed to make certain that I was satisfied...excellent customer service.
I also know of friends who have used this company; and they have also been very satisfied with the work and products of this company!

An inferior sub-contractor was sent to do the work on my home. Despite the obvious open edges, patches of carpet pieces very visible along walls, carpet cut too short to be able to be tacked down in hallways and closets, big cuts into carpet in exposed floor areas and many other obvious flaws, the owner refused to repair or replace the mess.

Later, I also learned I was sold a carpet inferior to the sample I chose and at a higher price.

We have no idea how this company remains in business. This company can't be trusted.

I know businesses are in existence to make money, but this business just takes the cake. Last year my basement flooded due to a sump pump failure and I had ServiceMaster out to rip up the year-old soaked and ruined carpet. John Brown Carpets apparently 'worked' with Service Master to gain a client base. They tout their service as a seamless way to get your living space back in order. The rep from John Brown had a sample of my ruined carpet when he came to my house for a sales call, he brought along "comparable" carpet samples. He quoted me 3 times what I had paid the year before for inferior carpet, the quote was almost to the penny the difference between my max insurance benefit and the charges from Service Master. No thank you
