Dr Allen and his Staff have always worked with us when we could not affordto spend allot on our dogs,They do Truley Care for the animals and I would recomend them to anyone seeking medical care at an affordable price.

We don't believe in vaccinations for our pets for a variety of reasons (lack of safety, no proof of effectiveness) and we were very happy that this office let US decide what we wanted for our animals. We had another vet refuse to spay a stray cat we adopted because we wouldn't pay $100.00 for unnecessary vaccinations and tests, and now we have a litter of kittens to show for it. We have adopted all the kitties and they will stay in our good home, but will be spayed as soon as they are old enough - and we will gladly travel to this office to have it done! They do *recommend* the vaxes and tests, of course - that's the way it goes - but they also trust us to do what's best for our pets that we love so much. We have dogs and cats, and all are treated wonderfully here.

I can't recommend this office enough. Clean, friendly, professional, affordable. What more do you need?

Pleasant Valley Vet is amazing. They saved our bogs life. We contacted the vet concerned about our dog he was foaming at the mouth and was convulsing and even with a full schedule they told us to bring him on in, and in no time at all they found out that our dog had epilepsy and treated him. We were able to take him home in no time and he is a happy and healthy 3 year old dog.

Pleasant Valley is surprisingly cheap and most of their staff is very friendly and caring, however, Dr. Allen's wife, Shirley, who works at the front desk, would be better off working at a correctional facility with the attitude she has. She is rude and not at all pleasant to be around. She is also hearing impaired apparently so if she charges you for something you told her specifically not to do, she will charge you anyway and make up a reason as to why it should be charged. I think Pleasant Valley would be a great animal clinic without her presence. Nobody wants to walk into an animal clinic and be greeted by some old hag that looks constipated and miserable. I hope she enjoys the $80 she ripped off from me...maybe she'll use it towards having a professional fix her eyebrows, or lack there of.

If cost is your upmost concern, then this inexpensive practice may be for you. If the wellbeing of your animals is the priority, then you should go elsewhere. After weeks of illness and numerous trips to this practice, I took both of my animals to a different vet. He actually thoroughly examined my pets, something that had not previously been done. The office is filthy and REEKS of urine. The doctor and staff are friendly with the exception of Shirley at the desk, I find her scattered and borderline rude.

Very good service at reasonable prices. The Vets don't run tests that are not necessary keeping the price down. They also have geniune concern for the animals

This is a small practice located in the middle of Plain City, OH. The staff is courteous and friendly. The practice handles small animals as well as farm animals. The vets work well with our cats and dog. The prices are very reasonable. The only down side is that they take cash or check only, no credit cards.
