After 2 years at a variety of Cinci salons, I discovered that Cincinnatians pay more than other major cities & for terribly incompetent hairdressers.

I finally found a trustworthy and consistent salon in Hair Studio Blue. After having my hair destroyed by Mitchell's on Kenwood by Michelle, Donald gave me an honest assessment, and multiple options to choose from. He actually cut my hair correctly for the texture and my face type so it looked nice even when growing out! (My salon at home proclaimed "KEEP THIS ONE!" since I was having them double-check Cincinnati work by that point).

I love that the people are friendly, they did not push product (instead asked questions to make sure I was getting the best value for what I needed), provided samples so I could try products before buying them, and have been wonderful to work with! What's even better... all they specialize in currently is hair, and the stylists I've met don't do double-duty as rep for hair product companies.
