The sandwichs are AMAZING! I am in love with the village addiction but enjoy every sandwich. I love the decor/set-up. Staff is always very nice and you don't have to wait long for your order.

Pros: Sandwichs

Cons: Pricey sodas/teas/waters

This is a small, friendly, simple little lunch spot. The sandwiches all look good and the3 I've tried were all good. The specials on the chalkboard wall all looked good too. Oh and there is a cupcake shop attached for dessert...

I stopped by this place for the first time for lunch. The sandwiches they serve are pretty good. I particularly like their cheesy broccoli soup was great.

They have many seating area and friendly customer service. This is a kind of place where you want to spend a sunny weekend afternoon with a sandwich and a couple of tea.

This is a good little soup and sandwich place. I like to go for lunch. It's also right next to the Gingham Cafe if you need a cupcake for dessert. Try them, you'll like them...

Right next to Schiller Park, this place makes the best sandwiches around. They have a large and very unique selection of breads and sandwich ideas...think cranberry bread and brie. Slightly pricey but well worth it! This place is usually very busy so make sure you have plenty of time or consider taking your order to go.

This is one of those deli's where the workers know your name. They're friendly and conversational, and offer a GREAT selection of delicisous sandwhiches, side dishes, and wines. The dining area is cramped but once you're there, you don't mind. And outdoor cafe tables allow you to soak up the sites and sounds of German Village while dining. Due to the downtown location and often busy lunch hours, I recommend going early or going late, as parking, sitting, and standing space is at a premium.

Pros: Great variety of cleverly named sandwhiches. Cheaper than Katzinger's and almost as good!

Cons: Small dining area. Often very busy.
