Costello S Dvm - Town & Country Veterinary Hosp

I have been going to Town & Country for 10 years now. I have never been happier. I would not take my pets anywhere else. I have yet to see any of the other vets besides Drs. Moxley and Susey, both of whom I trust completely with my dog's health, but have never heard a complaint about anyone else. I have referred numerous people there and they have been very thankful for the recommendation. The office staff and vet technicians are always friendly and helpful and they truly care about your animal. The facility is beautiful and always spotless. I feel the prices are fair too. This is not one of those facilities that is going to run every test in the book just to pump the money out of your pocket. They like to use a conservative approach and try to treat the condition before they run too many tests or get the scalpel ready. I highly recommend this office for your pet's medical needs.

Most of the doctors there are excellent. They are knowledgeable and patient. The only bad experiences I have had are with a tech who argued with me when I told her my dogs surgical wound was infected and another vet who had a heavy accent and I was unable to understand him. In regards to the former, I am a nurse I know what an infected wound looks and smells like. Otherwise they have been great and very reasonable price wise.

My daughter and I took her male cat, Oreo, to get his yearly shots. We were put in the examination room for about 20 minutes with a very unhappy, frightened cat. We knew that he was very overweight, but we did not need to be scolded and belittled by the Vet. Dr. Florence Rutledge. She was not the only one in the office with bad manners; the receptionist who took my daughters payment could not even say a "Thank You". One of the veterinary assistants even made the remark that she did not want to be the room with such a big cat-afraid he would bite her. Oreo was not showing any aggression until Dr. Flo grabbed his neck and began giving him his physical. Of course, he hissed a few times and growled. It was a strange environment and was being examined by a very aggressive doctor. Dr. Sparks should be more aware of how Dr. Flo treats her "patients" and their owners.

I took my Siamese for 11 years to Town & Country. I had to put her down the beginning of the month. That day Daria was sick she was seen by Dr. Susey (normally it was Dr's Costello or Sparks) anyhow I cant tell you how hard it was but watching Dr. Susey with Daria was amazing. It was like Daria was part of Dr. Susey's life not just mine. The kindness, attention and "love" was felt. I'm sure Daria felt that as well because she wasn't nervous that day as she kissed me goodbye. She was cremated and brought home. The facility was able to take care of Daria from beginning to the end. The trust and care they provide is world class. I rescued/adopted two other Siamese (Cami/Coco) and Town & Country will be the only facility from beginning to the end.

I am from central Pa. I took my Lab, who had mast cell tumor cancer, for a second opinion. Dr. Sparks came in on his day off just to examine my dog for me. The clinic was clean, up to date and staff was very friendly and caring. If I lived in this area, I definitely would take my dogs there.

When my rott was sick, I took her here. The doctors and staff were so caring. It was nice that someone else seemed to care for my dog as much as I did! The prices were reasonable and the building and equipment were very clean. The attitude of the people who work there is what will bring me back to this vet and the other stuff is just icing on the cake!

After not beng satisfied with my previous very I began looking ofr a new vet. This place came highly recommended to me by numerous friends so I decided to check them out. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place, the staff were all friendly and I feel confident with their information. Do not hesitate to go here.

This clinic offers a new building with updated equipment and services. The hours there are very flexible and make it easy to accomodate everyone' s schedule, including the pet owner and pet.

There seems to be enough doctors there, and all doctors and staff give the feeling of a team effort to sincerely serve your pet's best welfare.

They offer supporting pet supplies and food and have an adoption service for pets, and discount service to spay or neuter a pet one wishes to keep that has been abandoned and found by you.

A very good service to their community!

PROS: Excellent service provider!
CONS: None I experienced.
