Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Not the best place to eat italian food

I get often invited to Olive Garden, and I honestly do not understand why people are so crazy about it. Probably it is because of its location: it is literally omnipresent! The food, however, is merely average, the pasta dishes are more on the greasy side, and yeah, there is free soup/salad refill....but, really, is that what I am looking for in a good restaurant?
Probably nice to go out with kids once in a while...but for a romantic dinner or for authentic italian style food this is absolutely NOT my favourite.
Pros: good place to go with children
Cons: average food and service

Not totally Italian, but not Bad!

The food is good, not great, good. A little better than what your mothers may have cooked/tried to cook for Sunday dinner. A fair price, good food, relxed dinning, and one located near every major mall in Ohio-----that may be why its on the list.(!exposure!) I sure many of you crew up on nothing more than Ideal pasta with Ragu sauce. All in all not bad for a chain restaurant--!
