The national railroad freedom center was just recently built. Located in downtown Cincinnati, right by the brand new sports stadiums. I took a few of my family members here, and we all really enjoyed it. We learned a lot about our history . All the workers that we came accross were very friendly, and seemed like they went out of their way to talk to us. I would definatly go back.

I took my nephews a few days ago to the Underground Railroad Freedom Center. It's a powerful, moving experience. I recommend going to anyone who has the opportunity... and I highly recommend taking as many people as you can with you. The admission is inexpensive and parking is free. There is a shop inside the Museum to purchase books, etc. Some of the proceeds from sales benefit the Museum. I am going back with my friend in a few weeks. Check it out.

The Freedom Center is housed in a beautiful building and really makes a statement. Admission is a little steep but as the other reviewer stated, everyone should go there at least once. There are lots of interactive items throughout. I highly recommend checking out the slave-pen. Very disturbing...along the same lines as the Holocaust museum in Washington DC. But everyone should see them both at least once.

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is a brand new museum in downtown Cincinnati aimed at educating people on the history of the Underground Railroad and promoting freedom and equality. The museum has enough exhibits to keep you interested for two or three hours. Since most of the exhibits involve alot of reading, It's better suited for teens and adults than it is for small children.

PROS: Educational, Friendly Staff
CONS: Not good for small children
