I love this place. It's a family owned business where either Todd or Pam will come over to say hi. The Ribeye is to die for, as are the pork chops. The seabass was also excellent. The only problem I've ever had there was the ribeye coming out a little to pink, but they took care of it without any problems. Make sure to try the bananas Foster. It is without the best desert in town. The carmelization on the bananas coupled with the half melted ice cream, when it all meets in your mouth it is like a taste explosion. For the previous person who had a bad experince, try again. Tell Todd or Pam and they will make sure you come out smiling.

Pros: Bananas Foster = Heaven

Cons: Steak sometimes undercooked

We went there recently because we had the "Entertainment Book" coupon. All I can say is thank goodness we did. It was horrible. Not just bad, horrible. I'm sorry, if you are one of the "regulars" that goes here often as the previous reviewer was, you just don't get out enough. My wife ordered a shrimp alfredo type of dish that had absolutely no flavor to it at all (or no sauce really), although it had gobs and gobs of paprika (the obvious spice and garnish of choice by their chef, or cook). I ordered Trout Almondine and having worked in three and four star restaurants expected a trout, opened up with a butter or lemon sause, roasted almonds and hopefully not overcooked. I got poached trout with raw almonds, again, buried with paprika. At least offer me some tartar if I am getting boiled fish that cost 16 dollars for dinner. If I could make a suggestion, try Six Mile House on Montgomery Rd. Similar menu, much better atmosphere and execution on how it is prepared. You can't get much worse than this at Guenther's. The ownership changed about last year, don't know if that is what caused it to be so bad. We had been there once before years ago and certainly didn't remember it this awful.

Pros: I don't know, I'll try to think of one and let you know. Uhm, parking lot...

Cons: Just about everything.
