I agree with the last reviewer on the lack of professionalism. I found this place to do generally good work on routine repairs but the staff are a bit "rough around the edges" for a nice part of town where people bring high end shoes for

I wear a shoe lift because my left leg is shorter than the right one. I had been using Mt Lookout Shoe Repair for about 5 years without any issues. I was paying about $35-40 per shoe every time I had a lift put on. I recently went in there

very conveniently located just off mt lookout square this place is very friendly. they will inspect your shoes and suggest other fixes, but won't push you or try to sell to you. i found them to be pretty good as far as quality as well. it takes up to a week, but they are open late and on satrudays. the only drawback was the price... if you have expensive shoes to fix, take them there... otherwise you might end up paying for the fix as much as you paid for the shoe.

I was pleasantly surprised when they told me to wait for a few minutes before my repair was done. On the weekend or during the work week I never had to wait in line or asked to come back. The order was promptly ready and on many occasions I got some extras - they would actually check the shoe and see if anything else needed to be repaired. Never charged for it though!

PROS: service, convenience
CONS: none
