Since Cedar Point is only a few hour drive we usually go once a year. Even though I have been there probably twenty times I still get excited each time. The roller coasters they have are awesome. The Millennium Force is my favorite ride. I think we stood in line two hours to ride it. That was the first year it had come out though. The food is great but costly. The ticket to get in are pricey as well. I think they are about $45.00. The rides are cool and I love when they add new rides.

Cedar Point is the sweetest theme park I've been to yet! I hop from coaster to coaster and if you catch it on certain days (like Father's Day, an annual tradition for my family and I to go), the park is pretty deserted and you can run on and off the Millennium Force countlessly! It's a huge, huge park always expanding to make new rides and meet the needs of its customers, which is a good thing! If you haven't been here,
definitely give it a try; if you have, it's a place you'll want to go
back!!

This is a great amusement park for fans of tall thrill rides. They have two of the world's biggest coasters that ALWAYS make records for steepest plummet, fastest journey, or tallest hills. They have stroble light tunnels and loops which add to the thrill. For people who like an adrenaline rush, this place has a ton of coasters - some of the biggest and scariest, too! The park is always clean and is right near the beach, which is a lot of fun if you stay in a nearby hotel.

There is no better amusement park in the world! Cedar Point has the best rides - their roller coasters are great! They have some of the largest and fastest roller coasters in the world. There are also many smaller rides for children.

Cedar Point has something to offer everyone from children to adults. Cedar Point has everything from children's rides to water rides and shows, but most importantly Cedar Point has some of the best rollercoasters in the world. One minor complaint would be that there is often extremely long lines for the more popular rides, especially on the weekends. Admission is expensive so be sure to order the Cedar Point magazine they release each year for free for valuable coupons.

Cedar point is really a great park for rollercoaster fanatics! One recommendation I would make is to go not in the summer, but in September or October when they have their Halloween-themed weekends. That is definitely a lot of fun, and its not so bad standing in long lines for the rides when it isn't 90 degrees outside. Riding in the dark is also a ton of fun. Yes, it's pricey, but I highly recommend it.

I had a season pass this summer. I did not get the parking pass. BIG BIG BIG mistake. They charge $9 each time to park. I wasnt too upset until I went to walt diseny world and they were only charging $8. I was excited to see starbucks at cedar point. It is NOT a real starbucks though. The rides are great. No complaints here

Cedar Point is a wonderful amusement park with tons of exciting rides, great amusement park food, games, and other attractions. Admission is a little over $40 for a pass that lasts you all day. The last time I went to CP, I loved riding on the Demon Drop. It isn't as frightening as one might think. A little pricey, but Cedar Point is well worth it. They also have a nice water park.

This place is awesome! We drove from Missouri just for the rollercoasters. It was so much fun! They have so many rides that it makes the entrance fee worth it. Some of their roller coasters are rated the top ones in the world. Their water park is nice too. Forgot our towels and had to buy some there. They were cheap and rough, but it was all an experience.

I first learned of Cedar Point by reading the Guiness Book of World Records. This park has set records with more roller coaster than any other park in the world.

The current record setter is the Top Thrill Dragster. When introduced in 2003 it blew away the world records for both speed and height. Accelerating to 125 mph, the coaster, at its peak, reaches 420ft! The ride is a little short though.

For a longer ride, try the previous flag-ship coaster, Millenium Force (2000). At "just" 310 and 93 mph, it was the biggest coaster in the world when it debuted. Still an exciting ride that is surprisingly smooth, due to overbanked curves.

I drive a few hours to get here, and it is always a great time. They have rides and games and places to eat and see for all ages. Their roller coasters are the BEST, and they are pretty clean for a huge amusement park. You can even stay at their hotel and enjoy two days of fun. They also have a wonderfully huge water park. They are open all summer, and most of the fall. They have Halloween attractions and haunted houses every fall to. They have a seperate young child area, and great food. This is THE place to go for a fun day, no matter where in the country you live! Admission is about 30-45 dollars a personal, depending on age and time of year and day of the week. WAY better then Disney World!

Awesome amusement park! The thrill rides are top notch. Don't leave without riding Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster at least once! You'll be sorry if you didn't! The park is very big and has lots of rides for all tastes, not just thrill seekers. Food options are what you'd expect, but eat in the park anyway. Who needs more walking around.

Each year we go down to Sandusky, Ohio in order to go to Cedar Point. This is an expensive trip but well worth it if you love rollercoasters. Cedar Point has been voted to have the best rollarcosters in the world and you will not be disappointed. The lines are long and the sun is hot. However, it is well worth the trip if you love a thrill!

PROS:
CONS: Price

The variety of rides for Cedar Point, plus the availablity of kids rides is great. There is just so much to do at Cedar Point making it dollar for dollar the best money spent compared to the likes of Six Flags or Disney World. If you are less than 4 hours away the drive would be worth it. On a summer friday I was able to get through most lines in 30 minutes.

PROS: Lots of rides, great value, alot of room to move

I accompanied a group of younger teenaged boys on a two day excursion here and they had a blast !! They just couldn't get enough of the rides. Truly the roller coaster capital of the world. In two days we only made a dent in the rides - I think you definitely need a week to do it right. Pricey, yes, but by today's standards they are right in line with everyone else. It was an experience my guys will remember for years so definitely well worth the price !! The two day pass definitely saves you money. Season passes are also available at bargain prices. And senior discounts apply.

PROS: Huge parking lot - plenty of food available.
CONS: Long lines at times for some of the rides (to be expected)

You need more than 1 day to see and do everything that Cedar Point offers. Even a place for the littler ones to be able to play. So many roller coasters that you miss some the first time around the park. Lots of fun to be had. This is the place to go for some of the big coasters, there are a few that will make you feel like you have to pee your pants.

You know, Cedar Point may be the roller coaster capital of the world, but knowing that doesn't make me want to spend the $45 per PERSON fee and $9 to park my car.

It used to be a great time taking the family to an amusement park like Cedar Point. Now you have to have $210 just to buy 4 tickets and park your car for a day. Not only that, think of the food and drinks. You used to be able to picnic with your own food which could help but you go to these places to get away from the hum-drum life and enjoy yourself. IT's not much enjoyment being taken to the cleaners.

If you can get past the money issue, you will have a fabulous time there. Then again, those long lines and rides closed down.. hmm.

This park USED to be one of the best around. Unfortunately, that's all changed in the past few years. On top of outrageous price raising, they have now decided that people of "Obese size" can no longer ride many of their newer rides. Apparently being over 200 lbs/size 16 as a woman or 250 lbs as a man makes you now "obese". Of course since they no longer allow you on a great percentage of their rides, they have no problem still charging you 100% of the ticket price. This is rediculous. I refuse to pay the full 45$ price of a ticket when I now can't ride most of the rides.
if you happen to be thin enough to get in and ride the rides, don't bother trying to buy food or water there. You won't find water for less that 3-5$. They are disgusting, all the money the make and they can't give out a cup of water or make rides EVERYONE can ride. This place is just a complete ripoff.

PROS:
CONS: Overpriced, bad staff.

This is one of the greatest amusement parks I've been to, and I've been to many in both the US & Canada. I love Cedar Point for its location and rides. As for the location, it's set along the lake and is so beautiful, especially at sunset. It also has tall trees that provide shade and a nice park to walk through. As for the rides, Cedar Point is the ideal place for thrill-seekers. They hold world records for having the tallest, fastest coasters (Millennium Force and Magnum-XL are the best), that are also smooth - not jerky and headache-inducing. A great time with friends!

If you like roller coasters, there is no other place in the world to go to than Cedar Point. We went from coaster to coaster to coaster all day long. The only other ride we did was the bumper cars. And I actually won at a carnival game for the first time in my life. I can't wait to go back there and ride coasters all day long again.

Cedar Point is a large amusement park located on the banks of Lake Erie. They have 16 rollercoasters and a large kiddie area. They offer a lot of different kind of thrill rides along with the traditional ferris wheel, bumper cars, log ride, swings, a skyride etc. On there website, you can try to win free tickets. You can purchase season passes, an all day pass, a twilight pass and some kiddy passes. They also provide shows. If you go, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. It's a lot of walking.

Being from Sandusky, I have mixed feelings of this amusement park.
They have taken away the senior discount and lowered the age for the toddler/junior prices. Pass prices were raised and and no longer make passes affordable for most families. We have renewed our passes for the last two years. Most of those seniors are on a fixed income- but they had some lame excuse for taking away the enjoyment they had going to Cedar Point. Most of the children were not able to ride the big rides, but had to pay the big prices

I think this park needs a lot of renovation for the money they bring in. The merry go round ride is not even. This park could be much better if they would do some good painting of the rides.
THEY NEED TO PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES MORE. Most of the employees are from different countries which is great for them, however, many locals won't work there. I feel for the long hot days and nights these people put in, they need to make more money.
They do not give any kind of discount for the local people who have to put up with the Cedar Point season They pay taxes, however, they don't give local people any kind of discount.

Their prices are outrageous when you sometimes have to stand in line for as long as two hours to get on a ride. A family of four spends over $200.00 for admission. That is crazy.
Don't get me wrong, Cedar Point is a great place, just not that great to me and my family anymore

PROS: alot of rides
CONS: price, lines for rides, needs renovation, no senior or child discount

This is a HUGE amusement park, with soooo many rides. I can usually never get through all of them. They have a large selection of rides, from bumper cars to coasters that go 90 mph., to kids rides. There is also a water park. Admission isn't cheap, but usually there are discount coupons you can find and its worth it once a summer. Tons of parking. Wear comfortable clothes, you'll be doing a lot of walking.

This amusement park is one of the best. They have rides of every size and a ton of coasters! Each year they come out with at least one new ride. The lines for the coasters and most of the newer rides are usually outrageously long, but well worth it. The price of admission keeps going up as well, but in this case you do get what you pay for. It is worth the price of admission. There is a children's area and a lot of other hotels and attractions in the area where you can stay and play some more.

This park has it all, but you better like thrill rides. Hands down, Cedar Point has the biggest and best coasters and thrill rides in the Eastern US. The Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster alone are better than anything else out there, and that doesn't count the other 12 coasters and many thrill rides like the Power Tower. The park also has plentiful concessions, shops, kid's attractions, shows, and a water park. If you like amusement parks, you'll LOVE Cedar Point.

I love Cedar Point! As a Michigan Native, I loved spending long summers here, riding the rides until I was sick and paying too much money for a pop. They have the greatest, newest rides and roller coasters of any amusement park I have ever been to before. The shops are neat, the vendors well-priced, and the restaurants very good. I will certainly visiting Cedar Point at least once this summer! Great for the entire family.

This place has something for everyone! I'm looking forward to my son being a little older so he can go there. They have the best roller coasters on earth. It's a total day of exhileration. And if it's too hot, there's water rides, or you can go to Soak City to cool off. Want to go again tomorrow? There's hotels right on the peninsula, you don't have to go far! And there's even a buffet inside the park that's a very good value, especially if you get in during lunch hours.

Cedar point is the BEST park for roller coasters in the country. They have more coasters in one park than any other park in the country. Cedar point also has an amazing water park right next door for an additional entry fee, of course.

Cedar Point has always been the "go to" place for me. I know my way around that park better than I do my own grocery store. Even when things get changed around, I still know my way. I love this park. The food is always good, fast or sit-down. The live entertainment is always great either in a theater or on the paddle boat. I do not even have to mention the roller coasters, they speak for themselves. This park is always immaculately clean. With all the amenities this park now has, it is easy to think about staying for more than one or two days and not get bored. I highly recommend this park for you and your family.

PROS: Family oriented
CONS: Better to go during the week and NOT over a holiday
