Upon arrival at motel there were 8 people at the Front desk complaining about service. First had special reservations and was to be in their room at noon. I arrived at 4pm. One person in the group was in a wheel chair and they had requested first floor rooms since they have no elevators. So they were giving second floor room and had been arguing with the desk to get in to first floor rooms since noon. Second group was arguing about why their room was not ready yet. A smart person should had left then. I had first floor pool side room for my young children. We were given a first floor room by the pool. As we are in the parking lot unloading the card the front desk comes out takes the keys to the first floor room and told us our room is now on the second floor. So we go check out the room. It a pool view room with no easy access to the pool for my young children. So off to the front desk I go. They tell me any room that you can see the pool from no matter what floor it is on is a pool side room and they charge extra for this. So the front desk explains to me that I don??t know what I??m talking about that along as you can see the pool it??s a poolside room. I asked to talk to manager of course like every body else that asked for her I was told she was not there and was at the park. But the manager would contact me later. Went back to the front desk again that night around 9 pm asked for the manager. Well she went home for the night ask then to call her then they told me no because she at home and not to be bothered. Well they offered at 9:30pm to move me and my family to another room since nobody showed up for it and it was a worse room with even a worse view. I was also told the manager had tried to contact me. So the next day on the second trip to the front counter I get the manager. I told I was not very happy about the room and being chased down in the parking lot and the room taken from me. Well she offered to move me to a different room and give me 10.00 off the room. Now this was 139.00 a night room. I told her the paint was peeling off the ceilings and hanging down, spider webs in the hall ways. The ceiling in my room was so dirty it was black. I said you know I have complained less at Sheraton, Comfort Inns and they have gave me free room upgrades, free dinner or made the problem better. Her answer sorry but we are an older motel and can??t afford the maintenance like chain motels. If I wanted something a little nicer I should have stayed at the motel just down the road. She wanted to try and make be happy but all she would do was moving me to 129.00 a night room. I asked her why she didn??t leave me a voice mail or note that they were trying to find me. Her reply we never thought of that. I told here I just want the rest of my stay canceled and we were leaving. Back in the room packing my son bumped the air conditioner and the front fall off of it. This is an old run down motel that need a lot of work and money to fix it up. This motel should only charge 40.00 to 50.00 dollars a night for any room in this motel. Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and its only 8 miles away in Twinsburg. After six trips to the front desk and 24 hours of arguing with them the thing I got was my leaving. They really didn??t care about any thing and never fixed any problems I had. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST STAY AT THIS DUMP.

I love Geauga Lake theme park. It's close, it's clean and well maintained, and they have updated and modern rides in their park to keep guests happy. Their water park is cool, it has a large pirate ship that you can play on all day, crayons that shoot water, gigantic lillypads to walk on, etc. For dry rides on cold days, they have hundreds of rides to choose from, depending on how much of a thrill seeker you are. There's something for everyone here. On the downside, they do gouge you with their ridiculous ticket/parking prices.

Geauga Lake wasn't much different than King's Island. They don't have many unique attractions that makes G.L. stand out from other amusement parks. In their favor, though, they have upgraded their park within the past few years and stripped the old wooden coasters to make room for slick, fast, metal coasters that give a really smooth ride - nothing that rattles your brain, or anything. All of the rides are new, freshly-painted and colorful, giving it an edge over some older theme parks. Prices are steep - it'd be a pretty expensive day for a family of four.

This is a pretty good amusement park - they have some awesome coasters (one where you stand up, one where you lay down) and a really sweet water park, with floating inner tubes, twisting slides, a pirate-themed boat area, and a wave pool. The only downfall was it's EXPENSIVE for tickets, parking, and concessions - you're better off spending the money at Cedar Point.

It's an alright amusement park. I think it's geared more for younger kids though because there are more fast-paced spinning rides you're likely to lose your lunch on (Tilt-A-Whirl, upside-down flying Enteprise saucers, Texas Twister which flips you upside down and rightside-up continuously) or get a headache from. I like Cedar Point a lot better because they have adult-oriented rides, like The Millennium Force. This is an okay place to spend the day, though.

This is a nice place to take your family. The prices aren't that expensive and there are usually some good discounts floating around. They have a very nice section for younger childrend and a very nice waterpark. The adult rides are pretty good also. I would definitely take my kids here again.

Geauga Lake is a great place to spend a day with the family! Since it is so close to Cedar Point, you have to compare the two. Geauga Lake has smaller sized rides when compared to Cedar Point, as well as lots of other things to do instead of ride rides. This makes it good if someone in your family does not like roller coasters, or doesn’t like the big ones. Pretty good value for a days entertainment, but get discounted tickets at a super market for an even better value! Their Halloween festival is great too, with dress up “ghouls” roaming about the park. Great time!

They just recently switched back over from Six flags to Geauga Lake. First of all, I don't like roller coasters so that has something to do with my feelings for this park. But it is usually soooo crowded and the people that work there are honestly the rudest people I have met, almost all of them. I have not been here for two years so maybe it has gotten better. But we went there a few times in one summer and I couldn't believe how poor the customer service was. Most people love this park though if they love roller coasters. They took out sea world though from my understanding.

We have been to Six Flags 2 times. We have taken our children and they always have fun. One price for all 3 parks. We love the roller coasters, the waterpark and last year we enjoyed the animal (Sea World) side.
