University Of Wash

Not as "high tech" as some of the newer suds emporiums in midtown Tulsa, but definitely the most comfortable. One dollar for a regular wash load, $2.75 for a triple front loader. $.25 for each ten minutes on a dryer. Two bar-sized pool tables. Cold 3.2 beer at a good price, sodas, snacks and good conversation with regulars and locals.

Sometimes I go to The U of Wash JUST TO HANG OUT! Sad of me, yes, but its a nice safe place with good people at the helm.

Laundry is boring... but this place aims to change that. Half the place is washers & dryers... the other half is a video arcade and a couple of pool tables. Even a small bar (beer only).

Also, their prices on washing oversized items (like comforters) are MUCH better than LaMode or Yale. But they don't do dry cleaning, only laundry.

If you have to go do laundry, you might as well have fun. People are pretty nice here about shooting pool with a stranger, just to kill time until their laundry is done.
