We got their signature Ribbon Cake for 275 guests at our wedding and the cake was delicious. It was 5 tiered cake and leaned a little, but it was pretty difficult to notice the leaning unless you were scrutinizing the cake. That being said, their customer service could definitely be improved. Working with Raspberries N Creme was difficult at times. Their pricing online says that their wedding cakes can range from $2.95 - $6.00/person. We assumed ours would be right at $3.00 or so since all we wanted was their Ribbon Cake with the same frosting it comes with and no other changes....nothing. We would keep the way they made the cake completely the same with no customization at all. I didn't even want the flowers that they normally come with originally. Their main person running their cake shop, Chance, originally quoted me for $3 but in a separate conversation their wedding cake designer, Mary Jane, started me at around $4/slice. I brought up what their website said and asked them in what situation would warrent a $2.95/person cost and she had no answer for me. That's a $300 difference which is a big deal! I originally told them I was just doing the basic cake and was providing the flowers (which my florist was going to throw in for free). They were COMPLETELY against that and said if I wanted flowers, I had to pretty much do it with them. I felt like it was a complete ploy to keep the $/person high. We eventually decided on $3.60 with flowers. It just made me feel like they were plucking prices out of the air and charging whatever they wanted! If my cake was a signature cake that they made ALL the time was $3.60/person, I can't imagine what any customization would end up costing another bride. If my husband didn't love their cake so much, we would have gone somewhere else. I actually was planning to switch to La Baguette, but my husband had especially requested this cake so I comprised. Also, I had scheduled an appointment with them and confirmed the appointment a week before, and they forgot all about it. At the end of the day, the cake was delicious even if it leaned a little. I would recommend their business to others, but I would say that they definitely need to work on how they interact with customers in the future.
