I love the look of my permanent makeup. My eyeliner is more black brown on the top, and more dark brown on the bottom. My lips are a natural pink mix. I wanted pinkish, but not way pink. I took the makeup colors that I like best to my appointment and she made it a close match. If anyone wants permanent makeup, I recommend Mychelle Tulk, RN.

My permanent eyeliner was done by Mychelle Tulk, RN. She is an artist and makes the permanent makeup look pretty. She does it lots of different ways in different colors depending on how you like to wear it. I like smudgy browns so she designed mine in the shades and style I prefer but made it look better than what I did with pencil make-up. She has her own techniques for permanent makeup and I did not find anyone in Oklahoma City that came close in comparison. The Aura Of Beauty office is very pretty and relaxing. I can't tell you how nice it is to have makeup that doesn't smear out. Also, the convenience of not having to check and reapply eyeliner during the day is great. The best part is having makeup on for that first look in the mirror in the morning. You have to have someone drive you home from Tulsa because you get a sedation pill from the doctor.

When I decided to get permanent makeup, I went to the best. That is Mychelle Tulk, RN. I am a nurse and have seen many patients wearing nothing other than their permanent makeup. It runs the gammet from awful to awesome. First, I preferred to have my procedure in a professional setting. Mychelle operates her Aura Of Beauty business inside a physicians office, which is compliant with Oklahoma regulations. The physician prescribes a comfort pill and they use prescriptive strength numbing medicine so you dont feel a thing. Second, I wanted my makeup to look awesome not awful! The fact that Mychelle is an RN doesnt automatically qualify her to be a good makeup artist or skilled with a tattoo machine. BUT she IS blessed with artistic eyes and hands. That is a gift one is either born with or not. There are so many people out there doing permanent makeup who have no talent for it whatsoever. They want to make good money without paying their dues in college. It astounds me why they continue to mark up another face after their previous attempt was a disaster. Possibly they dont see how bad it looks due to lack of an eye for beauty and art, dont know how the makeup should be, or dont care. I did find a few permanent makeup artists in my own city that did ok to good permanent makeup, but no ones work compares to the detailed special finishes like Mychelles in Tulsa.

I bought my wife some eyebrows so she wouldn't take so long in the bathroom, or leave upset because she didn't get them right. It scored high points for me with her.
