The animal clinic in Wagoner is run by the most caring staff you could hope to find. Knowing them all personally I can assure anyone with 100% confidence that they care for every single animal, whether it is your beloved pet or an unwanted stray, with the same care and compassion. They are all there for the animals especially Doc Peters. As for a previous review shame on whomever lets their dog go a full month with a severe injury before taking it to the vet and then becomes upset that they didn't perform to your standards. Next time seek care faster and you will most likely have better results. A+ for Dr. Peters and his staff.
Dr. Peters was named "Vet of the Year" and has gone to great lengths for at least two of my dogs. One had a bone in his throat and Dr. Peters did a major surgery, saved the dog, kept him for four days and didn't charge me enough, I thought.
My heeler got Parvo when she was young and Dr. Peters had her back to normal in less than a week.
Seems to me if an owner waits a month to take a pet in for a broken leg, there might not be a lot a vet could do.
Their boarding rooms are really nice, and have all the pet supplies you would ever need.
They mangled my poor dog's leg. They put pins in her knee and when I fineally got her home after a week she had a pin sticking out of the skin, had a port taped to her leg and was almost 15 lbs lighter. Now we are going to have the leg taken off and I'm worried she wont make it through another surgery with the condition she is in. She was in high spirits when I took her in eating well, happy, but her knee was broken (it had been over a month since the accident). They kept putting off surgery. The didn't seem to know how to help her. Now she is all skin and bones and cries from the pain. I'm so disappointed and I have still not gotten an idea of how much this mess is going to cost.

Animal Clinic has recently expanded and enlarged their facility to provide additional services such as "cat condos" and obiedience training for dogs. They have a wonderful staff of caring "pet lovers" who really try their best to give exceptional care to our pets. Saturdays are usually extremely busy and you may have to wait awhile but the wait is worth it. Their fees are reasonable and they take the time to answer all your questions. I have never felt like they rushed me in and out or were too busy to take the time to explain medical problems. They offer boarding services, grooming, surgical procedures, pet supplies and obiedience training. This is the only place in Wagoner I would ever take my pets. They are also involved in the local animal rescue organization which finds homes for dogs and cats.
PROS: They have expanded their clinic to meet the growing demand.
CONS: None.
