I contacted the store to find a specific item, and after several "holds", answering, transferring, etc.. I was finally connected to a "worker" who assured me (after a loooong hold and supposed check) that they had the item in stock, at that store, and in my size. After driving across town, I found that they didnt' have the item AT ALL, and I'd have to order it online. Assuming if I took their incompetent and uncaring salespeople out of the equation, I could get the item I was after - Foolishly optimistic on my part.
I set up an online account, placed my order, received a notification by cell that my bank account had been charged for the item, and *SURPRISE* - No Confirmation Email, No record of the order on my Drysdales account, and when I tried to login to my account, it wouldn't allow it. After speaking to their Customer Service by phone, I was told (1) They had a new online ordering system that wasn't working "as well as they'd hoped", (2) they presently had no way to confirm my order, but did request that I call back tomorrow, although they still may not have any answers, and (3) They recommended I order by phone in the future (like that will ever happen).
Congratulations Drydales - You've lost a customer (and his family) that had shopped there for years.

I ordered online and qualified for free shipping, 2 of the items I wanted were out of stock, but I wasn't informed of it until the next day thus, charging me $10.95 for shipping. It made the "great deal" I was getting cost more than I could find at other stores with free shipping on all orders( Christmas Special) I called customer service and when the lady answers she is talking with another worker and makes me wait (only a few seconds, but not professional) I explain that when my order went through it showed the other items in my total, blah, blah, blah and I ask if they could refund the shipping since it was their mistake. A very quick and short, "No" is all I got. So I ask if it has shipped yet, and again the "NO" and I say that I would like to cancel my order because the things I really wanted were not even avaliable. She said it was not possible to cancel an order. Beyond frustrating!
I had called once before about a felt hat that the color was not stated on the listing, nor in the catalog. I asked what color it was and she simply said, she did not know. You might want to try another store if you can.

I placed an online order & had a few questions after I'd put it in. I got prompt, courteous and extremely helpful information regarding my inquiries. I received my order right on schedule & was able to track it along it's journey. Upon arrival, everything was packed way beyond my expectations and I couldn't have been more pleased.

I ordered a total of 9 items & will be keeping every single one. The quality & price cannot be beat. I will definitely be doing future business with this establishment and highly recommend this store.

Horrible experience. Ordered shoes never got them . When I called them to find out where my shoes were they told me my shoes were shipped to the wrong address and that it was my fault. They did not try to help me or fix the problem. At this moment I am out $70.00 . I have had a family business for 30 years and cannot believe the way I was treated. I will try and fight this. I DO NOT recommend Drysdales at all. I am just so sad at how they handled this.

I purchased a Schaefer blanket lined denim coat online from Drysdales. The staff was very helpful when I asked about measurements for the jacket and when I asked about order confirmation when I didn't get an email after the order was placed. Very polite and friendly emails. Got a great coat, it was shipped in a timely manner to Ohio. The coat was onsale and they had an additional 20% off that weekend, so with shipping I got it for about 56 bucks and some change for a coat that is next to impossible to find for under 170 bucks, but they only had mens small or xs at this price because they were clearence sizes. I usually wear a women's medium, but the mens small worked OK for me. My mom was impressed with their service and ordered something as well. We'll see if she's as satisfied as I am. Would buy from again with confidence.

We purchased some boots for my son on 8/8/10 through Drysdale's website. We went through the entire order process, receiving a confirmation page at the end of the process. We immediately received a 'Confirmation of Order' email; which I did not open because I felt that the order was secure. The next day (8/9/10) I received another email which was titled 'Shipment Notification'.

Today I decided to track the shipment of the boots that I thought that I ordered, BUT what I found was that in the small print of the emails was a statement stating: Item Unavailable, order canceled.

Today I called Drysdales and spoke to a Customer Service Rep that could care less, so I asked to speak to a Manager. The Manager simply stated that she could not help me because I (ME) should have read the emails instead of assuming that the order was completed!!!!! Now how's that for customer service.

My suggestion: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Their website is not set up to tell you if they have the item in stock, and their emails are shot out by their computers, so even though you may think that you successfully ordered something, you probably didn't. I will never order from them again, total disappointment and waste of time!!!!

Before Christmas 2009 I purchased a pair of child cowboy boots as a gift and received an order confirmation email that had in very small print that they were to be backordered until January. I was also told that I can return them and receive a refund, but of course I will have to pay the return fee...that is total B.S.!!!. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and will NEVER purchase anything from the store again. In addition I will make sure that no one I know will purchase from them. They were "fake" nice on the phone only to say it is all my fault for their screw ups! Great work in a bad economy,..you'd think they'd be trying to keep customers, but obviously not!

I used to go to Drysdales a lot. I bought my cowboy boots over there as well as several hats, jeans and shirts. I haven't been to their store since last fall. Here's why:
I was riding my motorcycle by the store on Memorial and I decided to stop by and check their Wranglers selection. After a while I found what I was looking for. A very helpful employee - an older gentleman - helped me pick a couple of pairs of jeans. Before I left I stopped to check some belts and that's when the trouble started. Their security guard approached me and demanded that I had to take my backpack off and leave it at the register. It was a small laptop bag with a "camelback" that I use while riding my bike. He wasn't polite at all. I came to the register and asked them where their lockers were. They said that they didn't have any and that I should leave it on the floor next to the register!!! I came back to look at the belts, but then it hit me - I was considered a potential thief! I asked to see a manager and when she came I explained to her that if they don't have lockers they should not ask people to leave their bags unattended on the floor. I told her that I didn't feel comfortable leaving my backpack with my laptop computer and my smart phone on the floor. She didn't care. All that time the security guard was standing right next to me trying to intimidate me. I left the store without buying the jeans and I informed them that I would never buy anything from them again. Too bad they don't respect their customers. Over the years I have spent well over a $1000 with them... Now, I'm taking my money somewhere else.

As a tall man, it's hard to find jeans in the right size, but Drysdales has them every time. The store is well lit, a bit crowded with merchandise, but they have great clothing and accessories. The employees are eager to assist and do a good job helping me find just what I need. The prices are very competitive.

They have it all for western items! They also have a lot more than just western items. The prices are great, and a great selection. They will shape a hat for ya and help you get all set up. I like this store for the style. The store is always clean and the employees are super nice!

I think they have one of the best selections for western clothing. The staff is very helpful and they keep the store clean. If you are lucky you will run into a super sale. I would recommend this place!
