I have used Harvest Hills before ~ although they were alot more expensive than other vets I've used, I like the 'bedside' manner that Dr.Reser had w/my animals. \r\n\r\nToday I called, b/c I had a rescue puppy who needed veterinary care. I couldn't afford to pay anything until I get paid next week but they said they don't accept payment plans. I expained my situation and that I found this 1mo old puppy on the side of the rode ~ the lady who answered the phone was hateful and told me if I couldn't afford to take caer of the dog then I needed to take it to a shelter where it would be better off. She was hateful and snotty about it! I'm just trying to give this animal a 2nd chance at life - I don't need to be ridiculed that I've fallen on hard times. How would this dog be better off at a shelter? Where it would not get love or attention ~ would be in a cage ~ and eventually be put to sleep. No thanks! I won't be using them again, ever again, they're only in this for the money. Hateful disgusting people!!

The more time between now and when I took in my cats, the angrier I become over how they handled them. First off, there is a friendly cat in the lobby. That's not a good idea. The cat came over to my cats and scared them. What if a dog came in that doesn't like cats? Someone that worked there started shaking around a charity container full of coins like he owned the place--maybe he did, as the girls at the counter said nothing to him.

I had to pay for a new patient wellness exam, but got no such exam. They didn't know how to handle my more-frightened-than-usual cat (due to the noise and strange cat in the lobby) and made matters worse than they had to be. The Dr. was entirely uninterested in my cats and was just there to give shots and leave. He was not friendly, and we didn't like him at all.

The vet tech (or assistant) was all too happy to badmouth Neel Vet, where she used to work, but I'm suspicious because judging by how she handled my cats, I wouldn't be surprised if Neel fired her. No one has ever handled them as poorly as she did.

Also, I recently found out that Petco dropped them as their local Vet recommendation. I don't know what that's about, but it's not a very good sign!
