My husband (a soldier) came home to visit family for the holidays and contacted Ted's for a product that was difficult to find in the local market here. The man on the phone was obviously a tobacco snob and suggested I check the "low end"

I could be called "Tulsa Trash" at any cigar establishment in town. I frequent Ted's (both places), P&V, Tobacco pouch, Fogue & Bates, Mecca, and several others. The way I dress or look, or from what part of town has nothing to do with my taste for good cigars. If you feel otherwise, turn your stuck up nose away when I come in. Ted's @ the farm is a fantastic old style cigar store with people who genuinely understand the meaning of old style hospitality. The selection is good, and the prices reasonable. If you don't like my being there, speak up to my face, idiot!

After seeing Jerry G's review I felt I needed to write one myself, being from the south side of Tulsa where the nice people reside. We have a different perspective than north Tulsa sediment such as our friend Jerry. Proper people live on the south side. We come out here so we can buy estates with large front and back acreages with which we can plant horses on, and most of all not have to worry about having Jerries a stones throw away on the other side of the privacy fence.

The Ted's at The Farm is a nice place. It??s a variable oasis. It doesn't smell like exhaust fumes like Jerry accused, rather it smells like a proper Pipe and Cigar shop should. As you open the door you are sucked in and wafted gently along a delightful smorgasbord of scents and smells as comforting as your grandfathers old jacket and those delightful Werthers he always carried its pockets. As the door softly closes behind you everything quiets, you are in a different place. For a short while nothing else matters. The world outside is held at bay, you are in the eye of the storm, it is a good place to be.

However nothing good lasts forever, it is inevitable that you have to leave the sanctity of the place we call Ted??s. Life??s duties call, we as men respond, charging out battle. However we are allowed to purchase small pieces of this peace and tranquility we find at Ted??s, and carry them out of Ted??s and into our lives to tame the beast we call life. Whether you find your requiescence in pipes or cigars, Ted??s has it, or can get it.

As far as pricing, I've found Ted's prices to be very fair, and often less than those "other" places I have had to go on the rare occasion that Ted's was closed. What??s more is I've yet to find one of those "other" places that carries my favorite cigar, their selections are often sorely lacking in variety and quality.

Ted's on the other hand has a great selection, and are more knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly than anywhere else I've been.

This one is NOT the same as the one at Utica Square. Any old South Tulsa trash can just wander in.

A bit pricey and it's a little cramped and it smells more like exhaust fumes than the pungent aroma of pipe tobacco.

Go back to 21st and Utica!!
