I do not know how this dentist keeps his practice. After recieving treatments 2 summers ago, I realized why it was easy to get right in and there was NEVER a wait. He does terrible work that must be re-done within one year.

His assistant was very unprofessional, often reading magazines and shopping circulars while prepping me. She was smirky and borderline rude - seeming as if she always had something better to do that be at her job.

Now, for Schultz - I don't know how he hasn't been shut down. His fillings were not even rounded to the tooth - the fillings were so over-loaded and not scraped or tapered down to the tooths natural shape that it caused more cavities within a year. I went back within a week to ask him to taper them down - I even asked him to use the sanding strip to get the excess from between my teeth and he ignored me - used his metal pick to start chunking away at the excess and then created exposed tooth which within a year was discolored and beginning to decay. He did two front teeth crowns and did a HORRIBLE job. I had to have one sent back becuase they looked like chicklets. They were fatter than my teeth and were bucked - I have never been buck toothed. When he put the other back on it was at an odd angle, causing chipping away at my bottom teeth. I have waited two years now to go back to a dentist because of this experience - OH yes! They forgot I use gas and acted mad because they forgot to put me in a room that had the gas canister. Never mind that there was not another customer at the time. Maybe they were upset that they might have to straighten up after I sat there..? I've been to a lot of dentists and am in my 50's with extensive dental work. I would pull my teeth before letting this man work in my mouth again. I ABSOLUTLEY do NOT reccommend. He needs more school and/or training (but he appears to be in his 50's - so I wondered if he was someone who had very late schooling (if any)).

My family and I chose John Schultz because he was close to us. Only one female staff member was kind and made us feel welcome, the others were too busy to answer our questions and the few that they did were very short and curt answers and they were dialing phone numbers. The dentist was equally as cold, especially towards my elderly mother, which upset me. When I had an appointment to fix a painful tooth, I called to give notice that I would be late, and the lady on the phone told me, "Alright, see ya soon!" Then after a long drive through traffic hour I arrived 15-20 minutes late, and when I walked in, without even getting off of the phone, the desk lady said, "You are too late, the doctor has left already." I apologized and asked, "Will he be returning?" She replied, "Yes but we have other patients coming in in about 20 minutes." Funny because my procedure was going to take over an hour. I agree that it is your responsibility to arrive on time, but if a staff member tells you to come in late anyway, then is that rude to you when you arrive, that is not right. I don't think I want a Dentist with a staff like that working on my anyway. My family removed ourselves from their patient list after that. I have also found other similar reviews to mine elsewhere online, so proceed with caution.
