I'm sorry anonymous had such a negative experience at Peace Lutheran Church. Peace is filled with people with a heart for God.
They are no different than any other church experiencing problems in these particular times.
There is a great staff on board, The Music Minister is very gifted and a Godly man. The Youth Minister is well liked by the youth and the Congregation. The Children's Minister is phenomenal in the programs she has instituted. The Pastor is in tune with his congregation and is moving the church in the direction of what God calls us all to do . To evangelize and to be a witness to others.

.

A wonderful group of parishoners but a staff that is in a constant state of flux at the pastor and youth pastor positions. The congregation is very committed and extremely wealthy for this part of the country. Their apex was in the late 90s when additional worship space was a necessity. Since then the congregation has not been able to keep a youth pastor for more than a few months and hasn't had much more luck with senior pastors. The music director is superb although constant dalliances (by the current director and his predecessors) with a contemporary service have been a series of failures. The preschool program is fantastic as is the Sunday School program. Bottom line - this church is in serious trouble financially unless new leadership can inspire "maintenance giving" and is in trouble from a spiritual standpoint only due to the lack of sermon skills from the pulpit.
