When we moved to Tulsa, the Gypsy was the first Coffee House we tried. Located downtown, they are open late and have a good selection of coffee at decent prices. The desserts are also very good. The space is very roomy, with lots of couches and chairs--the perfect atmosphere for a warm chai latte and chess! The coffee house hosts open mic nights, weekly, providing limitless entertainment. I'd recommend this coffee house to anyone looking for something a bit more cozy and off-beat.

I love good coffee and good food, so when I heard about this place I had to try it. I went during a "concert". Okay with me, I love good music, too. Drinks and food a bit pricey, but--hey--this IS a coffee house. Everything was alright until I met the owner. What a weirdo! I didn't stay too long and I wouldn't go back. There's a lot of other better, nicer coffee houses in the area--and I'd recommend going to one of them! Otherwise you just might find yourself "upstairs" with some strange dude. My advice: skip it.

Pros: Liked the building and location.
Cons: Parking. Owner.
