As usual I get 1st class service at reasonable rates! This time I was pleasantly surprised by the cashier as I checked out ... she applied a service coupon to my bill which was a significant cost savings. Now that`s customer satisfaction!Randy Wallace and all your service staff create a wonderful experience in an unpleasant situation.
The salesman that assisted me and my daughter was outstanding. I felt that he went above and beyond what was expected of him. In my opinion you have the nicest... most caring and most professional salesman in him that I have been around in at least the last 5 cars that I have purchased. When I get ready for my next purchase I WILL look for him.
I feel that Smicklas Chevrolet has once again worked very hard to earn my business and make me a satisfied customer. Dave Russom worked with me for several months to help me find the right vehicle. The sales managers worked very hard to locate and bring in the exact vehicle i wanted from a different location. Once the vehicle arrived... the Finance department worked very hard to make sure the financing terms were satisfactory to me. The vehicle appearance upon delivery was excellent.
Having my oil changed is not the most fun experience but I have to say that you all have always done an amazing job from customer service to just getting the job done. I referred you all yesterday to an avid Chevrolet buyer and hopefully you will be seeing him in the future. I really wish I had bought my car from you instead of City Chevrolet. Thank you for the good work!
Our visit to Smicklas was a pleasant experience. To be honest... the day we went... we had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle. It was not until Donald Burks began to visit with us that we became more interested. We had our mind set on a used Avalanche at another dealership in Oklahoma City. Donald did not push us. We enjoyed his personality. He did not pretend to "know it all". As we talked to him... it became clear that we would purchase our vehicle from your dealership. Mark Anthony was great and Steve helped with the financing. They all three explained our options. We left feeling we had three new friends.
I must say this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had! The salesperson was "overly friendly" to the point I made my husband stay right beside me. They took 3 hours to get into a fniance person, even though we had payment in hand. They wouldn't even fill up the tank with gas before we left. I purchased a used vehicle from Smicklas that had a problem that was "fixed" before taking it home.... needless to say they used a temp. fix. We still have the problem and we have been told... "so sorry, we can't do anything for you" or we can't do that because "we lost money on the deal already". I even emailed Hull (the GM).... NO RESPONSE!!
dealt with Keith Reaves the service manager at Smicklas on the closing and salvaging of the old Smicklas building on May Ave. We were promised certain items Keith took our money and would not allow us access to items he agreed to sell at the end of the Auction. Careful with the old bait and switch or just plain lying on what he is going to deliver. very dissatisfied would not do business with Smicklas or any Bob Howard auto group if these are the type of people representing them.
My Corvette was first in line when they opened. I waited 1.5 hours for an oil change. The service manager gave me lame excuses (they were short handed; they only had one lift they trusted with a Corvette). Mine was the only Corvette in the shop. I was the only customer in the waiting room; other customers had dropped off their cars and left. I am a 20 yr + customer of Smicklas, but I will never be back.
I bought a Chevy Malibu at Smicklas in December. I was a little nervous to purchase a new vehicle, but the incentives were so good, and the staff so friendly that they took care of me right away. I even met the General Manager of the store... Steve Peacock, when he walked up to me and started talking to me like he had known me forever. From past reviews of this store, I wish "Anonymous" could have met Steve... he knows how to make a nervous experience great. I have since sent a couple of friends to him and Smicklas, and we are all very happy.
Horrible customer service. Mechanics diagnosed my problem wrong and would not cover the costs of repair, even after they told me they would do so. I asked to talk to whoever was in charge, and they referred me to Gary Williams, who I'm told oversees Smicklas and a few other dealerships in the Oklahoma City area. Gary told me that the diagnosis sounded like it was probably wrong, and I couldn't believe what he said next - He said, "Why should I help you? You're already mad at us, you're not going to be doing business with us in the future, so why should I pay to have your car fixed? I might as well throw the money out the window."
Each time I have had work done at this dealership it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get through the cashier folks and into my vehicle. They can never figure out how to bill to a maintenance agreement. And every time I go to this dealership I have to wait a very long time for them to get their "courtesy van" rounded up to take me to work.
PROS: Their work has been satisfactory though
