I think it's insane how degrading people can be. I don't think any place is perfect and people seem to forget that although it's a gym IT HAS TO MAKE MONEY TO STAY IN BUSINESS. I saw it everyday people blaming the gym and the staff because they don't want to get off their lazy buts and work out. Yes some things in the gym could improve but what place is perfect that has been in business that long. Things break Especially when disrespectful members don't take care of the equipment like they should. It takes money and time to get things fixed. It's not the companies fault you are siging contracts not reading them and then CHOISING to not use them and then putting the blame off on others. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for your laziness.
To the comment about the staff having relations with each other you show your ignorance. How dare you speak about people and situations you don't understand because of your childishness and ignorance. These people were friends of mine and you have no right to lie, embellish, or exploit any situation unrelated to your piggish pitiful life. Grow up

Ok, so back in 2009 I signed up for a 3 year membership. Granted, I haven't been going there lately, because the gym flat-out sucks!! I seriously don't know why I ever joined this gym in the first place. Well, the membership cost over $500.00. I called them not too long ago, just to find out that it had been cancelled and the idiot over the phone try to sell me another membership for $400.00, when my membership shouldn't have expired in the first place!!

Today, the send me a damn $56.50 bill for absolutely nothing and apparently it's past due and I knew nothing about it!!

Worst gym EVER. The rudest customer service (if you could even call it that) I and my family have experienced. We are lifetime members, due to some mishap years and years ago (Because my mother isn't fluent in english they suckered her into a lifetime contract and we got a $800 bill in the mail one day), and we were given a guest pass for 1 month. We decided to let my boyfriend use it when we went and after 3 days the management told us we couldn't use it because he wasn't a local (He's been living here for a year now) and that he could only use it if he was "serious about joining" their gym. Then they tried to get him to sign a contract for $35 a month! And what takes the cake is that NO WHERE on the guest pass does it say that you have to be a local and serious about joining! What a load of bull. I wouldn't waste my time with this awful gym. You're not a valued customer here. You're just another sucker they're trying to screw.

This place has some of the worst customer service ever. They scam people into contract agreements. They lied to me saying I would not have to pay a cancellation fee and when it came time to cancel they are forcing me to pay even after talking to supervisors at the local and corporate level. They are frauds and have done this to lots of people. Just look for reviews elsewhere. Beside the place itself isn't that great compared to many others for the same price.

All American is running the BIGGEST scam in Tulsa. Stay away! It has been one huge nightmare, since I unfortunately signed on the dotted line! I signed up for 1 year $25/mo. Only to find out later, that the supposed contract I signed was for 2 years and $38/mo!!! Plus unexpected yearly maintenance fees! (they didn't give me a copy of my contract, dumb mistake on my part..but the salesman was a smooth talker and I left without it) . On top of all that, the gym is filthy and has little ventilation. It gets worse than this...but Im going to spare you the nightmare-ish details. Please report them to BBB, if you have also been scammed!

I received in the mail a late notice due of $56.50
$34.00 enhance fee, $20.00 late fee
Had any of you received letter like this from ABC Financial, All American 24 hour Fitness' billing company. I paid for two years membership upfront last year. So why do they charge this "enhance" fee thing. How often do they do this? I am mad.

My wife and I joined and everything was great. We were told a new gym would be built on N. May,so we felt even better. We even used one of the trainers, but you had to pay for so many sessions, should have seen the problem there. So as our contract came to an end we found, No new Gym, they closed the one we were using, found out it had a mold problem, among other things, so we had to drive to NW Expressway from Edmond. I had an injury and couldn't train so when our membership expired I was told no refund of the unused sessions, but if I come back I can get my training time. No way. We joined another gym. Cost less, No contract better facility and no pressure to get trainers. Stay away from All American. The regular staff are great but the bottom line is money and high pressure sales.

Received a coupon in Valpak from All American for "Last Chance to Join for Only $99 a Year" Sounded Great!! When I went down to sign up, the Manager said that I had to pay a $59 enrollment fee, some other fee, and had to join for at least three years (all payable up front, of course). This all added up to just short of $500. Of course none of this is listed on the coupon, no asterisk, no fine print. I am a Purchasing Agent, so I know how offers of service and contracts work. I insisted over and over for about thirty minutes that he honor his advertisement and that I be allowed to write him a $99.00 dollar check and become a member for one year. He gave me some 800 number to talk to some supervisor who, when I called told me some other district supervisor would call. When he called, same story, no flexibility, obviously I didn't understand the ad (How could I understand $99 a year?). Don't believe these ads. "Only" doesn't mean that's the "only" amount they'll try to stick you for. "A Year" doesn't mean one year. Better yet, stay far away from this place.

I joined the gym after moving here from another state, prices were high for what the gym was but I joined. The first 4 months it was wonderful. No problems. i then got told I was delinquent on my equipment fee ($29) it was not that the money was not there, it was the way I was informed. When I called the financial people to try and understand I was told basically I was out of luck and no one had my correct payment down. They had been withdrawing it from my account for several months but could not figure it out. I don't have a desire to be part of a gym that does not have the ability to know their financials and is not cooperative in figuring things out with me.

My husband and I joined the gym in 2005 and I never really went. I was in on a saturday morning and the manager Nick came over to me and asked what my goals were. No one has ever really asked and after a long discussion I decided to hire a trainer. Since then I've lost over 30 lbs and I'm feeling great. The staff was so nice and I'm saving more money to hire a trainer again!

Sorry to be on a different track than everyone else but we joined All American about 7 years ago. Got a special life time membership with low annual maintenance fees. Everything is just as it was stated in the contract 7 years ago, the equipment is in good shape, there's lots of variety, yoga and other classes are free with our membership, the place is clean and the new extended hours are great. We have no complaints.

I originally called about aerobic classes and I was quoted a reasonable price. I went in to meet with the infamous Nick Jones-aka, my poop don't stink Jones, only to be informed of the many hidden cost that come with the aerobics class. Even with the rude and eerie feeling of the employees and the gym, against my better judgement I sat down to discuss membership options, I thought maybe I was just having a bad day and I was being hormonal, so in the end at 6p.m. I joined the club, with a slight smile and a nag in my gut. I returned on the next morning at 9a.m. to cancel my membership after having to now wait because it is obvious why I am there, the service was even worse. I asked Nick Jones if the check I had written the day before had been deposited yet 3 times, his response was that it and the other post dated checks I had written was going to be sent back to me in 30 days- are U sure?- yes. I was informed that I was making a big mistake, I couldn't loose weight by myself and would probably be back. Why was my initial check cashed 4 days later throwing my account off- because I voided my check, going about my business, trusting the devil had told the truth. I called to inquire about this and Steve says that Nick misinformed me. Then it occurred to me that Nick , the manager, misinformed me because he was mad that I cancelled my membership, and that explains why he spoke so rudely to me when he told me I couldn't do it by my self. I was also in a since given the commitment issue speech that Donna S. was given. Guess what? I will not be back and I will tell everyone I know about this facility and the way that All American Fitness does business. I will also pass on the other stories I have read.

The management at all american fitness are extremely rude. I didn't even get to my first appointment to set up my contract. i was running slightly late and i didn't get there at exactly 6 o'clock, the manager called my cell phone and left me a message that said " Donna this is Nick the manager at all american fitness and we had an appointment at 6 tonight, now I'm starting to get an idea about your dedication problem". So i turned around and went home. I have also joined another gym where the staff AND management are extremely nice and helpful.

PROS: none
CONS: Rude

we have had a membership at this location for years. The staff is down right rude!! While tanning the machine shocked me. I told the staff and was laughed at. They have a childcare center and i was told when they signed up my son could go there while I worked out. I tried to to drop him off one morning and was told they donot take children like him. He is blind and autistic. I will never work out at this place! never. we pay or I should say throw away 60.00 a month . We have been asked to be let out of our contract because the childcare center refuses to watch our son. We was told tough luck! Even though before we signed the contract we was told dallas could go to the center. I dont recommand to anyone
