Every time I have tried to go there, it has been closed. 7 - 8 PM usually. And their hours aren't posted anywhere, so who knows when they are open.

As probably on of the few actual cubans in Tulsa I was very excited to try out Cafe Cubana, unfortunately as I walked in and saw that as part of their logo there was a picture of Che Guevara I was very disappointed to say the least. I would suggest that the owners do a little research about a butcher to the cuban people before ussing it to advertise a cafe shop to celebrate their culture. Overall the Coffee was a bit over priced and needed a little more sugar as we dont add sugar to the cofe afterwards but blend it in during the making of it.

The highest praise I can give a coffee shop is to say that they will dump out any espresso shot they consider sub-par and remake it to be sure what you get is the absolute best.
Cafe Cubana is the only coffee shop in Tulsa I know that will do this, and does so on a regular basis.

They use the best equipment and ingredients, including Intelligensia's Black Cat Espresso blend coffee, ground fresh for each shot. Definately the best I've tasted in any bar. It stands up great in everything from a latte to a straight espresso. Try a cuban coffee (syrupy mixture of espresso with turbinado sugar crystals) or a cafe con leche (espresso, steamed/foamed milk and a big tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk) if you want to try something new.

Their newest machine is a marvelous candy apple red La Marzocco. And you thought Italians only made beautiful cars?

Coffee virgins have no reason to fear, though. This place isn't just for chronic javaheads. The friendly staff will ask what you like and make suggestions.

Don't expect to be able to order a Denny's GrandSlam for breakfast, but the muffins and cookies are baked in house. The steel-cut oatmeal is usually in the cooker, waiting for you to add your combination of fruit, nuts, milk, sugar, etc...

Other drinks available include a wide variety of loose leaf teas, fresh brewed varietal coffees, smoothies, protein drinks, and a cooler of sodas, juices and bottled water.

Amenities include free internet and lots of tabletop seating. There are a few sofas and small loveseats. A well-stocked walk-in humidor and Havana themed decor hints to the owner's other business, Fogue & Bates Cigar Shop.

The building front is not visible from either 15th or Peoria. Just drive around behind the Jason's Deli and look for the cafe tables and chairs out front.

Why not 5 stars? Well, I've sat in cafe's with more ambiance or more comfortable chairs. Some have diversified into a wider variety of snacks or full meals. Others specialize in outragous drinks with multiple types of syrups and flavorings. However, I've never been to a cafe that has better coffee than Cafe Cubana.

This is a great coffee shop/cigar shop, my family has been going here for years they have great quality coffee and a very relaxed atmosphere with couches and tables, there is also a small patio out front to enjoy your coffee and watch the world go by. Cafe Cubana also offers a walk in humidor with great prices. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is one of the hidden places along Cherry Street.
You have to know to look in the back of Lincoln Plaza (S.E. corner of 15th & Peoria) to find this place.
Good coffee and pastries and nice outdoor seating.
The wait staff can be a little too hip (read: bored) to give prompt service but otherwise, a nice place.
