I have been to this Tag Agency twice in the last month and dealt with two different people. Neither had a ton of personality, but let's face it, how many people at tag agencies do? Both were extremely helpful and I was able to get in and out very quickly. I wasn't blown away by anything, but would definitely go back.

This place is really bad. Especially the fatty taking driver's license photos. Hey fatty, I know your life is terrible, please don't pass it on to the customers.

When it is time to renew my tag and I always would put it off because these people treat you like your a criminal. I only went there because of the location, but would never suggest them to a friend. Guess they don't care as long as they make money. BUT now I just skip them all together......maybe when they lose customers they will remember we are "customers" and start treating people right!!!!

I never look forward to going here, but do simply because of location convenience. The people are generally rude, abrupt, and impatient.

Barnes Tag Agency doesn't even deserve stars.
Heres my story: I walked in to register my new vehicle and had all paperwork, tile, proof of insurance etc. I get up to the counter and the person at the desk calls over the other these women to double check the title. On the title, the car at one time had been repossessed from a business that had ownership of it. Anyway, the ladies INSISTED on they needed a "Lien release" from the original bank that sold it to the dealership I purchased it from. They told me they couldn't do anything with it until that had it signed. Well, I had the repossession affidavit in my paperwork which usually cancels the "Lien release signature" out.
I left, went to the dealership myself, showed them the paperwork and everything was perfect. The ladies in the title department said that they don't need a "Lien release" since it's a repossession and that the repossession affidavit is exactly what they need. Apparently Barnes Tag Agency doesn't like the dealership's paperwork. When they found out I went to Barnes, they laughed and said, "That's why" and recommended I to go to another one. Apparently, these people at Barnes have a reputation in many areas. They are rude and lazy. Needless to say, I called Barnes back and stated that they in fact were wrong and that I was going to a different tag agency. Wish I would have read these reviews before I went there. Tomorrow, I am calling them and letting them know how many negative reviews that have recieved. :)

"a far cry from kindness behind the counter", I don't want to point a finger because I am sure someone in that place is nice. Let me tell you about our Family's experience. My 7 year old needed to pee and they would not let him use the restroom so he had to resort to pissing in a bottle in the van.What is wrong with those people? I think they took a class on how to be rude. This place stinks! I will drive to Jenks next time so I don't have to deal with these people who are obviously very unhappy with there jobs. BE GLAD YOU HAVE ONE! really would it have been out of your way to let my 7 year old pee in the toilet? Thanks a lot Barnes...PS I hope everyone reads this before going to your agency. Maybe Mr. Barnes could use an Image Consultant to let him know he employees rude men that have the personality of a brick wall.

I've been renewing my tags at this place for over 10 years. The reason I've been there is because u open on Sat. However, when business became better, I started seeing unfriendly and rude attitudes. It's always the case that when a business gets better, then the owner and workers get cockier! My last visit was one Sat in February and that's it, even though I was not directly hit by your rudeness but I believe in my 10 yrs observation and some other reviews on this site. Your service has deteriorated and inconsistent. I won't come back until I "hear" changes at Barnes.

Places like this make me want to open a tag agency called "The Nice Tag Agency." I called in and they answered the phone with a rude yelling of "tag agency, we close at one...what do you want?" I thought it was a joke and so I said "hello?" and the guy said "did you not hear me, what do you want?" He better have been the owner or his butt should be fired. After asking him to look up a title number he stopped me and said "sir, do you not understand that we're busy!?" I stayed calm and asked him the question again and he told me he could not help me and that I should call back at 1 PM. So I did and he laughed and told me they were closed! I really want to go down there and be a nuisance to him just because he was to me. Please don't support these jerks!

There were continual voice announcements made to let customers know that license renewal would have to stop at one o'clock, because cameras shut down at that time. For tags, pike passes etc, if one was inside the door at 1:00 o'clock, the Barnes' employees would be there until all customers were served.

However, customers blatantly ignore "no Cell phones" signs, are rude, loud and pushy. Maybe your first reviewer was one of those. Rules are rules.

Upon entry of this Tag Agency I thought it was nice, with all the stuff to look at etc....But my mind was changed after a few employees showed their true colors! It was a Saturday and while I appreciate the fact that they are open on Saturday (apparently the only one in town) there was no reason for their rudeness! First of all, their signs were not clear as to where the Drivers License line started...they had a sign above the photo taker but not that the line should start on the right side of the agency...so I waited in a line for 30-45 minutes (under a sign that said LINE STARTS HERE)...assuming that is where the line starts - Then I get up there finally and am told I should be in the other line... they then announced that they weren't allowing any others to get their licesnes - the lady helping me told them I had been in the wrong line, so the guy taking photos said I could be the last one... they were taking extra long because their computer was not taking photos correctly so they spent 20 minutes or more on 1 person! I understand their need to close @ 1:00 - but when the lady in front of me asked one of the workers why it was our fault that their machine was not working and we had to wait for over an hour - his reply was the most disheartening - He said "Well, it's your fault that you let your license expire - you have 6 months to do it - and it's your fault you weren't here @ 8:00 when we opened that's when I got here." First of all IT'S HIS JOB to be there...and secondly - it's because of us that he HAS A JOB...how very rude he was!!!! Then when it turned 1:00 I was the next one in line (there were only 2 behind me) and the guy taking the photos was very nice, he asked the lady in charge what he should do, should he go ahead and help us if he could...and she VERY rudely said - "If they aren't sitting in the chair getting their photo taken, then they need to go home!" very snyde....So after my third attempt of getting my license renewed (was told I had to locate my birth certificate which was in my mom's bank out of town!) I STILL didn't get my lincese...and I suppose the Police officer, if God forbid I happen to get stopped is not going to take the excuse of an disfunctional and RUDE Tag Agency!

This is one of my favorite tag agencys through out Tulsa. when you walk in there are nice couches and so much neat stuff to look at. the wait normally is not to long, I think partly it goes by faster because you have so much to look at.. The employees are always smiling and are so nice and helpful. I really do recommend using this tag agency if you can.
