Dont waste your time or money. Although I have learned quite a bit from this school, I could have learned the majority of it on youtube...and $13,000 cheaper!!!!!! The actual intructors are not bad, but deserve a much better teaching venue. The owner Kristie is an absolute nightmare. This school is run by a small minded woman, and 90% of what was advertised on their website ""www.photocareers.cm"" is totally untrue. They claim to be a ""no equipment needed"" school, saying they will supply all equipment....and NO HIDDEN FEES, but then are charging students WEEKLY for use of their 5-10 year old equipment. Their website promises all students recieve a full studio setup (lighting, background stands, etc..) upon finishing their program, totally untrue. They do not give us any equipment for graduation, but are more than happy to have us pay to replace their junk equipment if it breaks. When speaking with the school before enrolling, I was told we were able to take as much money as we needed out in student loans (i mean, helloooo...they are OUR loans.) but once quiting my job and moving to moore to attend this school, they informed me that I was only aloud to take out 3,000 dollars extra for living expenses and equipment. And even that money was to be split up to be given at two different times. The first dispurstment was ""supposed"" to be for 1500, 30 days after starting the program... It took the school FOUR months to give me my 1,500 dollars. When questioning why it took so long, I was givin excuse after excuse, untill I called the board of education, and they told me the school couldnt hand out any student loans because the program WASNT ACCREDITED at the time!! We are supposed to be learning a creative business, but have absolutly NO say over what photographs go into our portfolio! How is this teaching? I honestly feel bad for every single new student I see enroll, because I wish someone had the guts to stand up and say how bad their experience was before I wasted all this money. Please beware of this school, and realize this is not worth the money. If you want to be a serious photographer, get a real degree. Unless you have 9 months and 13,000 dollars just laying around waiting to be wasted.

EVERY TIME I MAKE OUT MY CHECK FOR MY STUDENT LOAN I GET TEED OFF. THIS SCHOOL IS A JOKE. THE OWNER'S DAUGHTER TREATS ""CUSTOMERS"" LIKE CHILDREN. TRUST ME, TAKE A COUPLE OF ON LINE COURSES FOR A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS AND YOU WILL LEARN MORE THAN YOU CAN AT THIS ""SCHOOL"". THEY SAY ALL EQUIPMENT IS SUPPLIED TO YOU, ""DON'T BELIEVE IT"" YOU BETTER BE PREPARED TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO GET YOUR ""HOMEWORK"" (THAT'S ANOTHER JOKE) DONE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T USE THE ""ONLY"" DIGITAL CAMERA THEY HAVE. THE EQUIPMENT IS OUTDATED, FALLING APART, THE PLACE IS A DEATH TRAP.

This school is a freakin joke. Every time I make out my student loan payment, I get really teed off. You have to buy alot of stuff because you sure can't use their "one" camera. You have to buy your own products for your homework. The list goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

Do Not, I repeat, Do Not waste your money at this place. I am surprised they are still in business.

I am a recent graduate of OSOP and really liked it. I looked for a long time for a school that was reasonable in price and actually taught you rather than just talked at you. The instructors were really helpful and any time I had a problem, they really tried to fix it. I even have gone back in since graduation to get help on setting up some stuff and they were right there and took the time to walk me all the way through it.
