Asian Variety
by Paula N.
I like Nam Hai. They've got some english speaking employees there and I never had a problem understanding them. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a variety of asian groceries. Their produce and seafood are VERY fresh. Must see for yourself!

Fresh fish DOES NOT smell
by Chris H.
Fresh fish does NOT smell. If you "smell fish", you actually smell decaying fish. Either the fish they sell is not fresh, or, the surfaces are not clean.

The Best Oriental Food Market!
by Keely L.
I think it is a great place! My dad always takes me and we buy a lot of stuff! Sure it may smell bad, but after a while you learn to get use to it. And sure the service may be bad and you can't understand what the employees are saying, but that's not their fault, and yes the over charging is a problem. It's the best place, I think, to get all your oriental groceries, though. I've been going there for a few years now..and I'm only 13. I still can't take the smell, but I've understood that they sell REALLY fresh fish and I'm pretty sure that's the cause of the stench and believe me there's more stuff to smell and complain about than the smell of one store! Personally I like the guy cashier better than the woman, too! Only because I know him from school, but still I don't think he charges more than he should, but then again I'm not for sure.I've recommended the accessories and exotic candies to a lot of my friends! And some of them even like it! I hope this helps.

Failure
by Patience C.
Gross and disgusting. Bad smell, bad service, bad overall experience! Would not recommend! Vegetables do not look healthy. Back end of service and stockers hardly speak English. They are not the people person I expected

Good usefull worth a gander.
by Darcy Z.
Fun little place, yes it is a little dirty, but the wonderful variety and the unique items are worth checking out. I wouldn't buy the produce or the fish it does not look fresh but the canned goods, sodas, and candy are great and it's cheaper than if you bought them a whole foods or another ethnically diverse store.

Very Nice
by Mary W.
It's a very nice little asian market for a small town. I've never had a problem with the cashiers, whom I find very friendly. They've got many food items for a lot less price than other grocery stores. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for asian groceries.

Watch closely when you check out.
by R S.
My sister and I used to love shopping here because of all the unique items, but recently when I was checking out, I noticed that the lady checking me out was entering the items so quickly that I couldn't see how much she was charging. With a toddler and a long line of people behind me, I felt like the price was too high, but didn't say anything right away. We went out to the parking lot and went through the bag, added all the items and realized she had charged me exactly double for my purchase.
When I went back in, the cashier/manager tried to say it was my fault, that I was trying to cheat, and after going back and forth with her, she finally refunded the $20 over she had charged. I decided to not go back again. My sister went back a few weeks later and she did the same thing to her- overcharged her. She's never going back either.
So, if you choose to shop here, just really watch when your items are being checked out. Hope this helps.

Big store, big selection, but dirty and bad smell. When I was there, vegetable leaves and water were on the floor. Also they never say hello or smile to me when I was there.

The best asian market
by hello k.
Nam Hai is the best and largest international market in northeast Oklahoma. They've got a great selection of fresh live seafood including catfish, crabs, and crawfish. From Asian gifts to African spices, they've got it all. I'm impressed!

This is the biggest Oriental food market in Tulsa and they have a large selection of produce, fresh seafood, dry food, and even clothes and gifts from Asia. The fact that all the things are in the same floor, it makes the smell of fresh sea food a bit strong as soon as you open the door.
PROS: some nice Oriental grocery
