The Museum of Art Cafe always impresses me with its fresh food, wonderful style, and lovely setting. Located in Oklahoma City's Museum of Art, the restaurant consistently serves great food. Everything is very fresh, and the cafe is a wonderful place for dining before a play or concert. This is a fine dining experience located right in the heart of downtown.

If you're looking for a brunch place downtown, the Museum Cafe is the place to go. It's elegant and sophisticated without being too pricey. They have great lunch as well and if you're looking for a special date place, this is a great place to go as well.

It's a nice place, and should be wonderful to visit after touring the museum, but don't even bother if you don't have all day. I took two children to the museum then to the cafe afterwards. We ordered two sandwiches, an order of fries and a salad. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive. All the food seemed slow to come out of the kitchen, but ours did seem to be the worst. The waiter didn't respond with much of anything other than an odd smile to my inquiries. We foolishly ordered dessert, which took another 25 minutes to arrive. All in all, we were there about 2 hours - for lunch. Ridiculous. The girls liked the food, and waited very patiently, but I was quite disappointed. There was no shortage of waitstaff either, they were crawling all over the place. This was not the first time I've had problems with slow service there, but this was the worst. I later asked someone I know who knows the chef to inquire as to what the problem might be and his answer was that the wait staff wasn't his department. Wrong move. The wait staff definitely reflects on his management of the restaurant. The food is a little better than average, but that and the atmosphere aren't worth the poor service.

Pros: Nice bright dining room

Cons: Food takes forever to arrive, non-responsive waiter
