I remember when I was a teenager trying to sneak into this place and of course being denied! Then as I got older I went back every now and again, especially for all the great music and the pool. My husband and I passed it the other night

Tillicum has reopened!

They're still sorting things out. No live music yet, in early August 2010, but they say they're working on it. A nice family is operating it, and trying to bring back the old Tilly.

And check out the margueritas if you get a chance. They're fantastic. I don't know how she does it, but they're really memorable.

But I hope they quickly get the music up and going again.

Haven't been to the Tilly for at least 5 years, but used to be a regular-always loved the music and atmosphere.

A date suggested going last Saturday to see Norman Sylvester-and I do love his music so we went.

The band was excellent, of course-this group rocks but the bar was almost empty for a Saturday night..used to be that the place would be packed and musicians would step out from the crowd to play a set w/whoever was there.

Reading reviews I understand the changes but I suppose I really miss the energy the Tilly had in it's former glory days....how to reclaim that? Where the heck is Billy Hagen when you need him?

Pros: always good music

Cons: where did everyone go?
