I've had awesome experiences in this restaurant, first of all thePLACE IS ALWAYS CLEAN, the natural plants give it a sense of freshness, tables are nicely spread out so it doesn't feel crowded. \r
SERVICE is fast and kind. The FOOD is the closest in taste of Mexican cuisine that I can find in Portland. Sea food is my favorite(Shrimps Cocktail). And Chicken ""cream"" too.\r
I have been there several times with friends and all of them like it.\r
DRINKS r great, Margaritas r The BEST!!\r
we have work meetings there because of the privacy and the quiet atmosphere. \r

Place was almost empty. Went there because everywhere else close by was too crowded. Waited 10 minutes for a server. She shows up with so much perfume on I was almost gagging. No dancer at the Acropolis would compare. $.10 a quart stuff we are talking here.
It was a full half hour until the food arrived and I swear a TV dinner would have beat it hands down.
This is my second bad experience here. I thought the first time was just a fluke because it was late at night.
This was once the best Red Robin restaurant you'd find. This place is awful. Want proof? Just count the cars in the parking lot. The word is getting out.
Pros: Location, Parking
Cons: Everything else
I go here often and have taken co-workers and friends with me; everytime I have gone the service has been very personable and light-hearted. The food is absolutely excellent in taste, generous portion size, presentation, and did I mention taste? I completely recommend it for a casual lunch date and be sure and sit in the sun room as it is nice to ""feel"" like your outside but not get drenched with our rain!\r
The only con I have is the parking- the parking lot is a little awkward to get in and out of, but it's worth it!
Pros: food, service, sun room
Cons: parking convenience
My brother, friend and I went to this restaurant for the first time two weeks ago. All four of our orders were totally mixed up with items we didn't even order. The drinks were good. I think the guy taking our order didn't understand english well at all. When an english speaking guy did come over, I asked if I could speak to the waiter, he asked if there was something he could help us with. I explained the orders were not correct (on all four orders). He said he wasn't the one who took the order and didn't even offer a suggestion on how to make things right. I had to request for them to correct the order. Their attitude was unbelievable. Drinks would probably be okay there..but you couldn't pay me to eat there again.
Pros: Drinks
Cons: Food, Service
This was the first time I have been to Mazatlan and it was fantastic. The enchiladas and margaritas were delicious. The service was the best I have had in a long time (and I go out A LOT)! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and drinks. I can't wait to check out everything else on the menu!
Pros: Awesome food, service, and drinks
Cons: none!
Sat outside, the wait staff was really nice and courtious. The margarita's were good, the nacho's were ok - not many nachos, but tons of beef and cheese. Next time probably would try the chicken nachos. Seem's like a good place to go, sitting outside you aren't on the sidewalk like other places, so it is nice.
Pros: Nice Wait Staff, Cheap Margaritas
Cons: So-so Nachos
I thought this was a really good lunch place. They have carnitas and they are really really good. It is a little pricey, and they are a tiny bit stingy with the chips, but the food is very fresh and the staff is nice. Overall, very good.
I've been going here every few months since it opened and always enjoy myself. The menu is large and has basic northern mexican food, but has yummy veg options to along. This is the only mexican place I've been to in Oregon that even offers vegetarian fajitas (I've had no trouble finding these in Arizona or California) made with tofu, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and carrots in a tasty, spicy sauce. Guac is vegan and there is no lard in the beans (some employees will call it lard but it's actually vegetable oil aka vegetable lard). Great drink menu and a fun atmosphere, though karaoke on the weekend can be quite over the top with badness and the dance floor gets pretty busy on the weekend. Also, the service here is great!!! Everyone is really nice and friendly, and I always feel relaxed and comfortable. Check it out!
Pros: good prices, veg options, friendly service
Cons: can get loud on, weekend, evenings
I don't understand how the Mazatlan in Tigard got a better review than this place. The food is a lot better, especially the Tortilla Soup. This restaurant and the Mazatlan in Cornelius and Aloha have the same food, but the atmosphere is a lot nicer with a lot more room. Also, you can't beat $4 for a 22oz draft beer.
Pros: Food, Beer, Atmosphere
Cons: Parking
