Love this place from the time I was a high school student there until I brought my own child. Awesome care and attention. They have a sent curriculum and schedule that they stick to. Arts and academics always done and in fun ways that my child loves.

My son has attended for a year now and will go next year as well to the Little Apollo Preschool. This program is fun-based, structured, caring and nuturing environment. The school is located inside the Sunset High School and teenagers actually take this preschool as a class, those who wish to work with little ones. It is a great experience for the teens as well as a bonus for the little ones, having adult figures they can easily identify with. The two teachers, from a rich educational background, run the class effortlessly, creating a structured, yet fun-filled, safe environment. The 3's program is a two-day per week class for 2 1/2 hrs. and the 4's class is a three day per week. The cost is very affordable. I never worry for my son's safety, there is such a high ratio due to the student teachers. There are projects, gym time, story time, while focusing on learning "how to learn". The teens truly enjoy working with the kids and provide such a caring atmosphere. I consider myself lucky to have found such a great program for my son to begin his school experience.

This has been an absolutely wonderful experience for our daughter. This preschool is housed in Sunset High School, so the kids get not only a top notch teacher and assistant teacher, but also "student" teachers composed of approx. 10-14 high school juniors and seniors who help out in the classroom while taking this for credit as an elective.

The ratio of children to adults ends up being about 2:1, which is wonderful for small kids easing into the routine of school and uncertain about what to expect. They get lots of attention and nurturing from all their "teachers".

The classroom itself has lots of different areas, from a pretend playhouse to computer stations, reading rugs, art area and tables full of interactive and learning toys.

I felt both happy and safe leaving my daughter in their care and will definitely be enrolling my son once he is old enough. I can't say enough good things about this program and its head teacher, Mrs. Slattery.

Little Apollo Preschool is great for kids and highschoolers. This preschool is held in the high school and the teenagers are the staff. They take a class and get some experience with childcare. The adult staff is wonderful and quite professional. The high school has made special arrangements for bathrooms for the children so they are not in with the general population of teens. The price is reasonable and they are super safe with the children.
