Before I met Marina I used Obaji products which were recommended by my dermatologist and it caused my skin to turn red, very dry and flaky. Last week I saw Marina for one of her amazing therapeutic hydrating skin treatments. And now I am using her own skin care line Avitalin. My skin improved immediately and it?s looking smoother, moisturized and youthful. I also noticed significant reduction in the wrinkles. My favorites are the Placentine and Firming solution with peptides. You could also find a lot of interesting information on her web side, Avitalin. I would highly recommend Marina?s product to anyone who wants healthier looking skin, without using those harsh chemicals.

I recently moved to Portland from New York. After spending many hours online and researching for a really good facial place, I finally picked Dermaesthetica. The place had very good reviews. I got a little bit frustrated because it took me a while to get an appointment with Marina. She seems to be very busy. First, I got a consultation with her and she spent long time with me talking about my skin problems and goals. The consultation was free of charge! Then, I finally got the skin purification facial with microdermabrasion and was absolutely impressed with her dermatologist-like understanding of the skin and her in-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients. She is much more then just an esthetician, her skills and clinical approach put her in line with some of the best professionals in her field. Marina is fearless with extractions and after my visit with her my skin felt clean, not irritated, and the redness quickly went away. She also formulates and sells her own natural skin care products. The peptide eye cream she recommended for me was simply superb and made my lines under eyes less visible. I absolutely recommend Marina and her skin care product to anybody who is looking for ?no fluff? skin care with results.

I am very impressed with Marina?s determination to educate her clients about safe cosmetic ingredients. Her own skin care line is exceptional and you would not find any toxic chemicals in her creams and lotions.
I am a breast cancer survivor and recently came across a website that all of us should know. www.safecosmetics created by Breast Cancer Fund. It even has a list of cosmetic ingredients that are known to be toxic for everyday use. In recent years, an expanding body of evidence has linked the pollutants and man-made chemicals in our environment to breast cancer and other diseases. With a professionals like Marina you could stay informed, educated and healthy.

I had lower back surgery and was deeply concerned with finding a quality massage therapist who could work the muscles effectively. Lev’s technique is unlike anything I’d ever experienced! His ability to pinpoint areas in need of work and releasing deep muscle tension are incredible. I highly recommend his brilliant work to anyone in need of real “deep” tissue massage.

I was a person with chronic back pain. I have tried all other different types of therapies, which really didn't seem to ease the deep pain. Since I have been receiving the massage treatments from Lev on a regular basis, I am pain free. His massage therapy has really made a difference on the way I feel. He uses Russian Massage Techniques on different parts of the body and has given me relief from pain and greater flexibility. Most of my friends have never heard of Russian Massage but almost all of them prefer it once they've experienced it. It is much more vigorous and stimulating than the Swedish, and really gets the pathways open and the fluids flowing. Not only does it feel great but it is extremely therapeutic. I think that anyone can spread lotion on skin, but it takes a true expert to overcome pain with intense, intelligent bodywork. I highly recommend Lev, who is a true expert in his field.

I had the Firm and Contour Package at Dermaesthetica. The series of treatments included of the use of topical agents and the most advanced equipment from around the world. After receiving the series of facials, I have definitely noticed a great improvement in my skin. I am so pleased that there is something you can do to rejuvenate your skin without surgery. No other facial treatments have produced such dramatic results so quickly. My skin felt more elastic and the color had more clarity. Overall, my skin had a natural, healthy glow. It looked more youthful. Thank you!

DermaEsthetica is a great place for facials. Marina is the owner of the clinic and one of the best facialists Ive had. Every facial with Marina is different. She is very busy but worth the wait. Her facials are thorough and exquisite.
Marina is very serious in her on-going study of the skin, is incredibly knowledgeable, and I have never sent a friend to her who has not been amazed by her. Even though her extractions are so thorough there is no pain and your skin will not be red or disturbed after the facial.

Since 2001 I have made Marina's facials a regular part of my health care/self improvement budget. Not only she is the "expert" of the "experts" in her business, she also sincerely cares for her clients and treats each one with a loving touch. What strikes me the most about Marina is her knowledge base. You can ask her anything about products or skin problems, and she always has a full answer! Marina's skin care goes beyond excellence in the skin care industry! I highly recommend her to anybody who is looking for a great skin treatment.

I have experienced acne since I was eleven years old. I tried over-the-counter preparations and professional services and products. Nothing seemed to help. My friend referred me to Marina Volod at Dermaesthetica. She had heard of her success with acne and knew of her result-oriented skin care clinic. I decided to give it a try. I have seen incredible results! I hope that other people who suffer with acne will read this and have hope that they too can have healthy skin if they commit to a Marina's programm and stay with it.

I love what DermaEsthetica does for my appearance. I travel up and down the West Coast and believe I can judge fairly that this is the best skin care I have ever received. I always get professional and very personal service. Marina treats my skin like it's her own and always does an evaluation of how my skin is performing to treatments. I soak up her suggestions because my skin takes a lot of abuse and she is extremely knowledgeable in skin care and up to date on the most current techniques.

I cannot say enough good things about Marina and the facials she gives at DermaEsthetica. Her space is very small, cozy, and you never feel like you're on an assembly line. Marina always makes me feel extremely comfortable. I always feel like I'm getting a great deal whenever I see her. Also, she never pushes products on you, which unfortunately happens a lot at other spas. She always insists on giving you free samples before buying the product. Not only is her customer service impeccable, but her facials are absolutely amazing. She has turned my problem skin around to where I barely wear any makeup!! I would never go anywhere else for a facial!!

I have been to many of the so called "Best Facialists" in the city, but no one compares to Marina Volod.
Not only is she is a master of extractions, but she understands all types of skin and can tailor products and services for your exact skin type(without pressuring you buy all of her products!
(She even recommends other products not in her spa if she thinks it is what you need, which is unheard of!) .
When I first started seeing her, my skin was a mess! I am a true devotee to Marina, and after one time with her you will be too!!! I would never get a facial anywhere else in the city. Her facial massage is incredible. Its amazing what she does with those hands!

Recently I experienced a micro-current treatment from the owner Marina Volod. I had an impression that she is very knowledgeable about skin care issues and possessed exceptional skills. After a few treatments with Marina I had astonishing results on my skin. I would highly suggest this place for people with skin problems, anti-aging issues and for the skin improvements in general. The place is small but offers the variety of unique and sophisticated treatments.
