Dear world,

I was interested in a home that Oakleaf Investments manages, till I spoke with any employee of the company.

When I initially found the home I was interested in, I called Oakleaf immediately to schedule a viewing of the home. I was called back days later to be told in a very unrefined way that I had just missed an appointment to view the home... My response was oh ok could I setup another viewing. Oakleaf response was "probably not till next week, I don't know call back in a few day, between 1-2pm.

I did what was asked of me by Oakleaf called back between 1-2pm to schedule a viewing, I was told be at the home tomorrow at 12:30pm. I took time off of work to go out to view the home. I arrived early 12:20pm, Oakleaf had not arrived yet, than 12:30pm came around Oakleaf had not arrived yet. I called Oakleaf: " Hi I called the other day about the rental home on 123 fake st." right as I finish that sentence the receptionist jumped down my throat " Well we have a showing right now but you missed that too!" ....Actually I'm here right now..."oh ummm.... let me see where shes at.....

12:50pm Hey! there she is to show me the house.

Finally getting to entry the home with the leasing agent dressed in jeans and a baggy sweat shirt, I realized this home was not being taken care of properly.

The hard wood floors were extremely rotted, to the point that if you put heavy furniture on it, I feel it would collapse. The gutter were hanging off the side of the house and the roof looked like it was from 1918.

I had inquired a few questions regarding the home to the "Leasing agent" all but one questions but (1) were answered with "I'm not sure". She was sure about (1) of my questions though, will the roof and gutters be repaired? Her response " The gutters and the roof are scheduled for replacement this spring". I thought that was great at least the home it going to be brought up to standards.

After leaving the property I called the office to see if they could answer my questions that the leasing agent could not. Every question I had was answered with "NO!" "NO!" "NO!" ...ok, that's fine. I wanted to verify that the roof and gutters would be fixed, Oakleaf replied "No! there's nothing wrong with the roof or gutters" I let them know I was just told that they would be fixed this spring... his response was "no" not a word more. At this point I almost wanted to laugh at them.

Overall, I really only feel bad for investors that are using their services to manage their rentals.

I give them 0 stars!

This is a terrible company. My husband and I are moving from out of town and were interested in finding out some information about a rental and the person I spoke with on two occasions was very rude and unwilling to answer any of my questions. He basically hung up on me during both conversations and under no circumstance would I ever recommend that anyone give business to this company or deal with them in any way.
