Me and my friends love it here! We spend so much time here I am surprised that the owners don't get sick of us. I have owned a horse now for 3 years. I have learned so much. I take lessons, and am involved in the 4-H Group. Whenever I have a question the owners are there for me. My horse looks so great... and he loves it in the Spring, Summer and Fall when he gets daily turn out in the wood fenced pastures. He loves his buddies. Oh yeah, and I love to trail ride with my friends too!.

This is a great place to be! It is an older barn, but the people are great! Not only is there a large arena, but it also backs up to trails. The current owners are doing their best to constantly make upgrades and improvements.

In the last year they have fenced some pastures with 3 rail wood fence. They have the materials for atleast 2 more so my horse can go out daily Spring, Summer and Fall.

Whenever I have a question or concern, it is addressed immediately. I can't imagine what a huge undertaking this must be! We have a great time with our horses every time we go out.

I agree with another review. This is an older working barn. The roof does leak and there are some rocks in the footing. However, the arena is large and accommodating for multiple riders at one time. The most important part is that the owners and borders are friendly and flexible. You won't find another barn where you are welcome to come and ride and enjoy yourself. This is a barn not only welcomes children but encourages them! If your a family and you want to ride this is the only place to be!

In my opinion, I think Pacific Equestrian Center is an overall great place to board. Yes, there is a little drama between boarders, but you can stay away from that. And yes, the footing isn't the best, but it is definately usable. And of course it takes time, just like anywhere, to fix up what was a run-down barn. I love the owners, they are great people, and they are doing a great job. And they deserve to have that big house they live in instead of that little tiny trailer home they were previously living in.

Awful footing. Leaky roof. Your foot almost literally goes through the floor in the hay loft because it's so wet and moldy year round. SO MUCH DRAMA! Owners who pick favorites and the favorites break the rules-to the point of doing dangerous things-and if you're not a favorite you get blamed for everything. I had hundreds of dollars of tack/feed/etc stolen at this barn. Owners care more about building their giant house then fixing up the barn they bought and comitted themselves to..."fixed" the footing and it's worse then before! Rocky, hard, never gets tilled and dusty!

I honestly cant come up with one good thing to say about this place. Not being dramatic, I boarded here for quite sometime and will never, ever ever go back under any circumstances.

Here is my opinion about PEC. When I used to board at PEC, people stole my stuff, and I had to keep taking it home with me. The lower priced stalls are so small, and most of them have poor quality mats. The arena is completely rocky, and my horse has gone lame more than once because of the rocks. People are constantly talking about each other behind there backs. Way to much drama. This barn is pretty much a western-english pleasure barn, and I hate pleasure, I think its worthless, but that's just my opinion. Also, the arena NEVER gets tilled, and you can here your horses hooves hitting the ground. Lets move on to the turn-out areas. There is one small round pen- which is in use constantly, and 3 teeny pastures to turn out your horse. The "fencing" of the pastures is inadequate, and high-spirited horses can escape, easily. The fencing consists of two wirey/rope things, and I think its some kind of electric fencing, but if this fencing were electric, its obviously not turned on, because my own horse, has walked right through it. I had heard things about this barn, but I boarded there anyways. My horse was never able to be turned out to move freely/graze. So truthfully, I say, don't waste your time with this place. It's not worth it. You and your horse will be miserable.

My family loves it here. The people at this barn are great. All the horses are well cared for and treated nicely. They have horse shows with great awards and host clinics too. There is always someone to go trail riding with. When I go to the barn I am free to spend as much time as I want. I have a lot of friends here too. They are like my second family. If I ever need anything I can ask the owners or other boarders and everyone is always willing to help me. It is like my home away from home. The barn hosts clinics in a variety of disciplines. If you want to attend you can. If you don't want to you don't have to. There are schooling and open shows too, so if you want to try and showcase your skills you can do it under a variety of judges here at the barn. Everything about this barn is great. It is an older barn, so it is not perfect. But, the owners do their best to make it a great experience for me and my horse. They are down at the barn all of the time working and checking up on the horses so I never have to worry. The feeders are all people who, themselves, have horses at the barn. They are invested in the care of the horses as if they are there own. I always know my horse is being cared for.

Great Barn, Great People. The barn is older with some older barn issues, but all the people are great and take really good care of their horses! Come check them out!

Cons: Older barn with some older barn issues.

It's a large facility with i think 80 stalls! But it's well organized, the horses all look very well cared for and the stalls are clean - i wish they had better arena footing though, it has lots of rocks in it.
