The only part that is enjoyable....is the Enchanted story land area. If you have little ones with you, there is a lot of walking and hills. The big rides have height restrictions and you'll pay a quite a bit of money, here too. Staff isn't

Still got it. This charming little amusement park still has it going on. Especially good for the 2 year - 12 year set. Took my sons for the first time this weekend and they cried when we left. Big rides are great, but the original sculptures and fun is still the park's heart. Not too expensive either. Same family still manages it 30 years later. STaff is friendly, food is pretty cheap (they let you bring picnics in too). I like it!

Pros: good pricing!

Cons: it is small, older kids may get bored if they have the wrong attitude!

This place rocks I have been here many times. I love the water log ride. They have tons of parking. And it's not to expensive. I can't wait untill my son is old enough to really enjoy this place. It is very colorful and truly enchanting.

My three sons and I visit this theme park. It's a lot of fun. They love panning for gold, and riding on the rides. It can be spendy, but we always pack a lunch and I very much appreciate that they let you bring food into the park. In on of the eating areas they have tables tucked away in little houses and it was easy for me to breastfeed my youngest on our last trip and be away from people. The kids never get tired of going to the Enchanted Forrest.

PROS: They let you bring in your own food.
CONS:

Right off the I-5 you will find this fun park for children. Set in a fairytale setting you will find trails leading you to the home of Snow White, the three little pigs and more. Kids can top it all off by sliding down a big slide and then laugh at mom, dad and even a grand parent going down the slide also. Parking is ample and cost for the park is minimal. If you re form out of the area this park is well worth the drive.

This park was designed around the forest it resides in. It includes all sorts of holes, trails, creature houses and fun for kids. They have a haunted part too - that as I remember scared the begeezes out of me when I was little. Fun for the whole family. They have plenty of parking - and they close business during the winter.

Another great place to bring your kids for some fun! This is one of the best places to take your kids for a little fun and excitement. They have all kinds of stuff to do to keep your little ones busy. This place is seasonal so you have to make plans. The place is like a fairy land for kids... with all the exhibits from Mother Goose Ryhms. You'll have a great time!

I visited here as a child and now I get to take my kids! They love it just as much as I did/do. You get to look at all the story book characters and follows the trails here and there. Then mine for gold, go on the water ride or down the big slide! Its alot of walking but well worth it!

Enchanted Forest is a great place to take the kids. They can crawl through a rabbit whole and come up on the oter side of the trail or explore the inside of a giant boot and exit via a slide. There is a haunted house and amusement rides for the small kids. Plus log ride and bobsled ride that will have you flying through th forest and end in a grand slash down.

This is such a great place. I remember coming here when I was really young for field trips. It's a very family friendly place. They have really imaginative entertainment. They also do really cute little plays and shows. I like that they are so different from all the big amusement parks where it's all about rides and thrills. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with kids!

I think that the Enchanted Forest is a great place for children to go. My kids always had a blast going to the Enchanted Forest. It was also educational because it got them thinking about different characters. It also was a great place for my children to use their imagination. However my kids grew out of the enchanted forest because it is geared for younger children.

This is old-fashioned fun for families with younger kids. The part is set into a hillside with plenty of shade trees so even when it is hot, the park is enjoyable. The attractions are mostly for the younger set with all things of a storybook setting. There are a couple of rides that older kids might like.

PROS: lots of shade trees to keep the place cool
CONS: Food sold is not very good - - pack a picnic lunch instead

The Enchanted Forest is only an hour from Portland and offers fun for everyone. There is plenty that will entertain little kids and the bigger kids will love the slides and the bobsled ride at the end. The theater is the highlight of the day though. They perform funny fairy tales and involve the audience. You can picnic or buy food from concession stands there.

This place is so kid friendly. I can spend all day there. The prices are very high, so for me it is a once a year event, but it is so worth it. The employees are great.

Our family tries to visit Enchanted Forest at least once a year as it is a favorite place of the kids. They feature some great displays of fairy tale characters, as well as a few rides, a haunted house. We will definitely be visiting some time in 2005 as they were adding another feature when we visited last year - laser tag I think?!

Price wise, it is ok....not a deal, but not outrageous. They charge one fee to enter, and then if you want to go on rides, or in the haunted house, you pay more.

My kids (3 & 5) love going to the Enchanted Forest! (So do dad and I!). We usually go a couple times during the open season. We like to go on a nice sunny day and take a picnic lunch to eat at one of the picnic tables near the entrance. It's actually a nice place to go on a hot day because it's shaded by the trees. Be sure to watch the play.. it changes from year to year, and is always entertaining for both kids and adults.

Getting to the Enchanted Forest is a relatively short drive from anywhere along Oregon's upper I-5 corridor. Once there, parking isn't fantastic, but it's well worth stopping anyway. A myriad of entertainments based on fairy tales, this is an icon that has graced family lives in the area for decades. Not overly spendy, but don't expect it to be in the category of a trip to a carnival. Between admission and the almost obligatory food treats and souvenirs, I'd classify the park as middle of the road price wise for this part of Oregon. Bonus, there is a person trained in first aid in attendance for those scrapes and bruises should they occur. Bigger Bonus, they don't regularly occur since the Enchanted Forest is a remarkably safe environment. For younger people, especially young children in the main.

PROS: Very easy to find and get to. Good fun for small children.
CONS: Parking can be difficult, still long walks from your car aren't usual.

It's hard to find a place to take the family that is simply fun nowadays. Enchanted Forest is set back in the hills near Turner, just off of I-5. It has a fairy-tale theme and it is great fun to watch the kiddos as they register the connections with their favorite stories. The ghost town is interesting and the rides are fun. We plan to go their again at the end of the month as a summer treat. It's definately a place worth checking out.

This is a must see EVERY summer for our family. It is fun for all ages~ There's Storybook Lane with slides and things to explore for the young children and a bobsled, log ride and a haunted house for the old(er) folks. Experience an old western ghost town in Toftville or tickle your funnybone at the musical comedy theater. There's something for everyone! It is definately an all day attraction to get your money's worth. Open March through September~ it is definately a family favorite!

I remember visiting Enchanted Forest when I was a child, and I loved it. Now my kids love it. Storybook wonderland, though some of the buildings, etc. need updated. It is still a fun place to visit, preferrably in warm weather, due to the slight chill from all the shade trees.

This theme park is definitely targeted towards families with younger childer. This unique park has a lot of fairy tale, fictional story type of themes. It is a very quaint and pleasant place to spend the day. There are game booths, a couple small shops, food locations, some rides, and a couple theaters. The admission rate is a little expensive if you only want to spend a short time there, so it is definitely better to spend most of the day there. If you have younger childer and are in the area, this place is a must!!!
