These folks offered to take our 4H members and teach them to groom their dogs for the upcoming fair. There were TEN dog and TEN teens and preteens with all kinds of dogs, from 6 month puppies to seniors, little papillon to collies and labs, mutts and purebreds. They took their time to teach the kids to wash, seal, brighten, dry, brush, clip, snip and their dogs. We started at 6:00 and didn't get out of there until after 9:00 pm, leaving the place with dog hair and mess everywhere. Not only did these folks take time with the kids at NO CHARGE, but they gave each member a gift bag of samples, treats and everything they would need to do a final grooming of their dog before fair. My dog STILL smells and looks wonderful! People that give of themselves like this to local projects like 4H deserve our support, because they really went out of their way to help our kids.

I will not be bringing my dog back to the grooming barn. I called and got a quote of $35, when I picked my dog up they charged me $42. Then I noticed after we got home she was missing her collar. Unprofessional practices, not a good way to run a business. I'm surprised they are still in business.

We have taken our Golden Retriever to this groomer twice. The first time, the girl who answered the phone was rude, short and seemed to be in a hurry. We got disconnected and she never called me back (she had the number), I then had to call back and get confirmation on the appt time. Anyway, we picked him up he looked ok and they said he was a good dog. But a few hours later at home I noticed that he had some sort of growth on his toe and they never brought this to my attention. It looked like they shaved right over it, but it was not bleeding. They never alerted us to the fact that anything appeared to be wrong. It turned out to be a malenoma tumor which has since been removed.

The second time we went was great. He looked good, he smelled good and he had a little scarf on. He's older and has a hard time getting in the SUV, so the gal at the front desk even helped me get this 113# dog into the car. We will be back!

Beautiful Grooming facility! I got a nice tour of the facility when I stopped by to check it out before leaving Harley for a visit and wash. The facility was clean and the help was very friendly. My dog came home feeling and smelling great. He seemed to have had a good stay while I vacationed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a dog or cat.I would drive quite a ways to return to such a nice clean facility and prompt service.Elizabeth

We have three wonderful dogs and appreciate the service we have received at the Grooming Barn. The self-service dog wash is excellent for our large dog and saves us money and a mop-up job in my kitchen.
The hair cuts on our small dogs look just great and the babies seemed very happy, when we picked them up. They are ready for the holidays and feeling very dapper.
I am happy to recommend the Grooming Barn and sign my name to this review.

I read the reviews even before taking my pet and i should have listened. I thought due to the convience of it being so close i'd give it a try, also my sister was happy with the service she received their as we have the exact same dogs. (brothers) Anyway i was quoted one price on the phone and then when i went to pick him up the price was a bit higher and so i asked what else did you do besides the usual grooming? there comment was that is what we charge and that your dog had bad behavior. Gee, i didn't know there was a extra charge for bad behavior. I should've asked if there is a discount for good behavior. So funny they said he had bad behavior. This puppy is the easiest puppy i have ever had. He doesn't bark and a complete lover. Even Petsmart commented on How great he was for them. Anyway, i called my sister to see what she was charged and she had more things done so she thought. They talked her into dremmeling her dogs nails so it wouldn't scratch her daughter and that was what she paid for. come to find out she was charged for it but they said they never did that service. I was so unhappy needless to say my dogs hair was a mess! Uneven, to the point i had to even his hair up, there was long spots all over him, and the style they went for UGLY. he had a boxed head and Poodle Legs! my husband and everyone that saw him thought it was horrible! And to think of paying $42.00 to have to come home and fix it! This place lost both my sister and I and word of mouth is everything. especially when in a small town like Molalla! Take my word: Go somewhere else!

I took my dogs to the Grooming Barn and the employees were unfriendly but I didn't think this would reflect on the care my dogs received. It did. They did a horrible job and my dogs had "snipped skin" in areas. I would never recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pets!

I took my dogs to be groomed here for several years. I didnt think it was an exceptional place, but I didnt have the time to look for a better place. Then one day the owner told me that my dogs were rowdy and ungroomable. So I found a new groomer and couldnt be happier. I found out my dogs were groomable and that the Grooming Barn didnt know what they were talking about. I wouldnt reccomend bringing your animals here.
