I went to Embellish (Terri Spaeth-Merrick) for my wedding dress in 2003. I wanted something colorful and not off the rack. Terri is incredibly skilled and easy to work with. The dress beautiful, custom made for me and surprisingly affordable.

I am not a big shopper and the idea of shopping for my sister's wedding was overwhelming to say the least. When someone had told me about Embellish it sounded great: show up and have her make me look beautiful. Why waste your time with a lot of the complaints...just let me tell you that the final product was just BAD. The fabric was lovely, but the craftsmanship was horrid....big missing stitches, the dress fit horribly through the bust and I even went back to have her "fix" it. The dress still sat terribly on my body, and when I pointed this out to Terri, she stated "well, I guess if you are used to skin tight clothing this would not look like it fits"....lovely, thanks for saying THAT.
I brought the dress around to friends and family who were all in agreement...it was an amateur job; that would have been fine had "Ma" Ingalls made the dress on the prairie, but this woman charged me over $300! Don't be a fool, DON'T get a dress at Embellish.
